OK, we've heard about beattie-too pricy..
Cottee-too old and well, small..

what we need is a big striker-iw as watching the nationwide programme highlights..
and while watching it, it reminded me of a big striker who can head and usse his feet(yes i know shock shock horror for palace!!-only kidding)..
Leo Fortune-West..

great player-hug, would cost id say tops-a million, hes young..
id like to think a good prospect..
views on this player people?

not a bad suggestion! but not great! he may not be proven at this level so we'd be takin a risk

Leo Fortune-West !!!

You are kidding me aren't you !?

Noades signed him for Brentford a year ago - I'm sure Edmundo can tell us all about that !

If this is another 'who should we buy topic',then I don't think anyone's mentioned Craig Moore, I thought he was absolute class when he was here, with Rangers buying De Boer then will he be needed up there ?

Having seen Leo Fortune-West in action, I can safely say that he is not 1st division standard. He started at Gillingham who off loaded him, then he turned up at Brentford and didn't last long there...think he is now at Rotherham.

Surely, AS must know that both Egil Ostenstad and Dele Adebola are proven players, both available for about £1m. Adebola is a quality player and if he had anyone else as manager other than the useless **** Francis, he would be first choice at Brum.

here is some info on leo fortune-West, I was passed this buy a friend who's spoken to him.

"Although Palace are my first love and always will be, I also follow my local
team, the Gills. I've actually met Leo at a youth football club presentation
night, extremely nice person, quietly spoken and eloquent. However, I don't
think he is up to playing at this level, although he is tall he doesn't
carry much bulk."

The general consensus I've seen on LF-W is that he is an average second division player and a great third division one.
