certainly is an old git why cant we buy someone younger or at least exciting, Am i the only one who thinks Forsell is lazy and cant win the ball in the air aswell, although unbelievable individual skill.
Why the hell don't we buy an up and comming youngster (f*ck it, lets buy two) from the lower leagues, like we used to, for next to nothing. Alright experience is something we are lacking at the moment but buying over the hill strikers does not win you anything. Defenders and midfielders- you might get away with. But we need height, speed and someone who can SHOOT STRAIGHT. There are plenty out there and we have got the cash- so get looking!!

Committed Tony Cottee (similar to Pollock and Ruddock), yes we should go for him.
As for commitment, perhaps we could part exchange him for some of our fans on the right side (A-C)of the homesdale who found 3 nil down too much to bear. Left side stood their ground to a man. Whats up with you lot, havent you got the stomach for it?

Tony Cottee ..... not for me.
Like the guy, a good honest pro - but not th man for Palace. He would fit into the same mould as Morrison, McKenzie and Forssell; a feeder player playing off the knock-ons from a target man.

Good point about Cottee feeding off people, he has scored quite a few goals, but playing alongside the likes of Heskey,Collymore and Marshall. We,unfortunately, don't have players of that sort.

I sit in the back of block C, and as far as I know all those people who nipped out early at half time were just getting a good place near the bar, (I would have done as well if I had any money!) and as far as I could see they all came back for the second half.....which is why the support from that section is so good.
Lets not get bitchy just because we lost. What are you doing? Blaming the fans for the poor 1st half display? Perhaps you'd be better employed congratulating all those who made so much noise in the second half to encourage the players, when most other teams fans would have sat their in a mood, crunching crisp packets or moaning at some poor ******* sat next to them!

Not bitching.
Just doing some left side right side banter

Guilty as charged I'm afraid. Left a little early to get the beers in and certainly didn't hurry back when I still had some left after the match had re-started. In fact, missed our first goal!!

"Smith said there was no truth in reports linking the Eagles with Leicester striker Tony Cottee and Sheffield United’s Marcus
Bent."
Oh well, never mind.
