Does anybody have any idea of the frequency/reliability/consistency of the trains from Victoria to Norwood Junction or Thornton Heath.
Especially this Saturday?

depends! i've waited 5 mins after missing one! but sometimes i've been hanging around at Victoria for about 30 mins for a train! time of day effects the frequency!

Glaws, sometimes its better to go fast to East Croydon and then cab it or catch a train back to Norwood. Also try London Bridge if its easy to get to for you (fast is at 33 and o3 I think to Norwood Jnc.

Best bet is to go to Thornton Heath from Victoria (23 mins - 4 trains an hour) or Norwood Junction from London Bridge (23 mins.)
For the full guide to Selhurst Park and how to get there check out the `Rough Guide' on the Palace section of www.fromtheterrace.co.uk (http://www.fromtheterrace.co.uk)

Chaps, I think you have missed the point here.
As I haven't been to Selhurst BY TRAIN, for a month or so, I needed to know if there was any sort of a service, what with the repairs on the lines going on.
Not on how to get to the frigging ground, excuse me!
As it happened the trains were perfect.
Cheers anyway.

Cris, that is gratuitous hard sell over exposure.
Be ashamed of yourself.
