If Wimbledon's match is off tomorrow, Saturday because of the frozen pitch, what are the odds of Monday's match being off with the forecast being more brass monkey weather over the weekend. Just that it would be great to see the forecast on the official website. Any info?


OK: Got it wrong. There was a comment on the official site. Pitch inspection. I read the wrong pages. Trouble is the pitch inspection is after I have todecide whether to go to a family gathering.

The Wimbledon game is off tomorrow according to Sporting-life. I wonder if Jordan refused to lend them the pitch covers;-)
IMHO It would do Palace no harm to have Mondays game cancelled, as the players need a break. Although, it would cause Ruddock to miss one "extra game".

The weather will break over the weekend- I suspect the pitch will OK.

just seen a weather forecast on tv - looks like it will be a lot milder than now on monday so the match should go ahead.

I wonder though whether the covers would be used all the time. On one side Wimbledon probably didn't pay for it so why should they benefit. On the other it protects the pitch for our games as well.
