Golden Earing in the Groenordhal in Leiden Holland, (a hall usually used as a cattle market so stinks of cow sh!t), these guys are still big in NL and regular playing despite the fact they peaked around 1977 with there RRRRRRRock Anthem Radar Love.

My first concert was Eternal back in 94', with Louise looking like she had just made a quick dash from school to team up with the others.

Favourite concert to date, was the Prodigy at the Brixton Academy, back in October 1996.

Gary Numan - Hammersmith Odean, 1980. I was only 14 and found it totally mindblowing!!! :)

I think he did 7 nights there as part of the Teletour. He was at the height of his fame and the Odean was THE place to play. The stage show was incredible. Everone in the crowd was dressed all in black and it was really hot. I took my first girlfriend there - she was impressed too and got quite frisky on the train home ;)

In those days of course it was no big deal for two 14 year olds to travel on their own across London by public transport late at night in the middle of the week... but that's another story entirely...

Adam and the Ants at The Dominion in 1980. I can still remember my eyes being glued to 'Adams' bulging leather trousers - I was 12

Fantastic concert, the drumming was incredible, dancing was superb. Dog Eat Dog, still a great song.

Gary Numan at the Hammersmith Odeon was indeed a fabulous concert. The set was amazing. And Al was probably there the same night as I was all those years ago

Like JCM mine was at the Portsmouth Guildhall in 1991. The difference is I went to see The Farm there in December of that year.

I only went initially to make sure my best mate could go (yes, he was 16 but he has muscular dystrophy and his parents were very protective back then). Oddly the night left me as a bigger Farm fan than he was. The whole crowd singing "Altogether Now" prior to the encore was the most memorable moment of the night.

Undoubtedly the Damned's 'first Anniversary' gig at the Roundhouse, supported by Motorhead & The Adverts.

Iron Maiden at Hammersmith Odeon in December 1988 on the Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour. Was a great night. Well, apart from the support band - the Killer Dwarfs.

I saw Yazz and the plastic population at Sheffield City Hall. Closely followed by Tanita Tikaram at Sheffield Octagon.

Not great.

I've posted the same thing on an old thread! D'oh

We only went on the Sunday. Saw lots of cool things that day, like L7 chucking their tampon into the crowd and bouncing around to Bjorn Again. Nick Cave bored me to tears though.

Nik Kershaw - The Riddle Tour 1985 was my first concert.

The best concert I ever went to was The Pretenders. They did an accoustic gig at the Union Chapel in Finsbury Park. Excellent

The Police. Tooting Common in a big Marquee - believe it was 1981. Last concert same group 2 days ago - half the stuff they played hadnt even been written last time around.
