I have literally bought the CM 01-02 game 5 hours ago...and I've got the above message EVERY time I click continue game.

Now, is it worth borthering with the game, or shall I start again or what ??!

At least spell catalogue correctly :p

erm,.. i would suggest you reinstall the game, with the new patch. Then you'll have 3.9.62 and hopefully it should work.

Oh, on that note of catalogue model... i am going away next monday to the same place... another pose? i think so. It is a new season you know.

The patch on SiGames.com (http://www.sigames.com) is meant to fix all bugs. Have you tried that?

I get v3.9.62 Index..cpp5773 every time I try to load my game, and have to click OK about 8 times to get through it. I even downloaded the patch and it didn't fix it :(

I am continuing a game that I started with the demo so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I remember that on the old game. I was in the yer 2010 and all of a sudden utils.cpp popped up and ruined my game! :grrr: I also had to click on it loads. Was it like once the first time and each time you have to click it once more?

There are probably slight code differences between the demo and the full game, that would explain it.

That's a bit crap then cos it said on the demo that it would be ok to do that.

Maybe it was ok with 3.9.60. But since 3.9.62 came out there might be conflicts.

i reported on a different thread that my game crashes at least once a week when i press 'continue'

a way round this, i have discovered, is to save the game twice a week.

anyway, the point i'm making is the game is obviously full of bugs and hasn't been tested correctly.

sort it out sigames

I've been playing the game with the patch and had no problems.

Still the game is a MAJOR disapointment. Such a let down and definetly the worse release from them yet. Just wish I could change my BBS name now! :)

Bring on CM4...

I have to say when i was testing it, it never crashed! I got error messages, but reported them and they got fixed. I have no idea why the final version is so buggy when the test version was not.

Another thing that I find strange - why is the Demo data always so different to the full release?! Surely they don't make that many changes between the two releases?

I really disagreed with the demo data, Viduka had 20 finishing for example. This has all been sorted in the real game though.

Also, have you noticed how they got round the Palace problem with foreigners? They've handed Kolinko and Rubins, English as their second nationality!

I think its a joke that I've forked out £25 for a game that is full of bugs. Yes, you might go on about 'patches' but should I really be expected to waste my time looking on websites to sort it out ??

I mean, some on, 5 hours after buying it and these error messages....not good enough by a long way.:grrr: :grrr:


PS - how do u give the board ultimatums ?

I'm not 100% sure but I think you go to Board Confidence and request more money.

When they reply and say no there should be a 'ultimatum' button.

Yeah. That's right. I'm not as disapointed with the game as the rest of you. I get error messages but it seems to work fine and I think the fog or war options well clever. Makes it hard but hard is good.

I noticed that too. It's not really very good because it still means you can't sign any more Latvians or other coutries whose players should be the same as EU nationals.

I'm downloading some patch - cm00389.exe from their site. How will I make it effective once downloaded ?

Bloody useless. You should NOT have to install a patch to a brand new game that costs £20, just to fix some major bugs.

It is really pathetic. And its not the first time this has happened with a CM release. Not impressed.

I'm really not happy now....if managing Peterhead wasn't bad enough, I have to content with 'that' error message. You know, the one with OK and details, and if the error occurs again to contact your program vendor.

I've downloaded the patch, which seems to have cured the game, is there anything to stop this bloody thing coming up ?
