CM2 has come up with some fantastic mix+match names in the past, so has anyone come across any amusing combinations or celebrity names?

On my Mac version, 2000/01, it seems to either give new players the same first and surnames. I've seen Lee Lee, Andrew Andrews and Jan Jansen so far.

Also, my game seems to have a lot of celebrity players. Had Tony Bennett, Michael Crawford and a certain Robert Williams to name a few.

My favourite (on 99/00) was a young English player called Sergio Giggs.

I think the strangest one I've seen is Jermaine McSporran.

Oops, sorry, that's a real one!

Chuck Fumatakidis - English ???
Maximillian Maximilliano - Hmmmmmmmm If he were real I'd be worried
Willie *****
Stefan Ishizaki - He's a real player, but I don't see how a player with that surname can be Swedish

The computer has some weird imagination!!!

Have you ever seen him? He looks Japanese, one of his (if not both) are from Japan. He is good though, saw a game where AIK beat Helsingborg 4-1, he set up 3 and scored 1!

Real player, Jobi McAnuff. It's a nickname.. but still.

On the other thread, about strange names.. Jose Marķa Condom. Quality.
