CM 01/02

I've just got the new Champ Man and am pleased to report that the Palace team is a bloody good one! You also get a bit of money to spend (£4 million or so). My first action was to send that useless waste of space Vickers back to the Riverside! Dabizas was brought in from the Geordie Scum for £2.2m and 3 inspired free signings (Negri, Ariztabal and Pfilpsen) have seen Palace in their rightful position at the top of Division 1 (and hopefully after the Wolves game that's where we'll be!!!) - my front three (Kirovski, Negri and Freedman) are ripping the opposition apart and Kirovski is the league's top scorer with 25 goals from 27 starts!

Anyways anyone else got the new Champ Man? Any opinions or stories?

I have just won 7 games in a row, 5th in the division and got sacked. What have I done to desereve this!:grrr:

I actually managed to get relegated bottom of the league without getting sacked and the board were still delighted. Is this a first ever on CM? :p

Well...I hate to boast ;)

I won the play-offs in the first season finishing 6th with a 4-1 win over Coventry

Managed to stay in the Premiership after a hard hard season - 2 places above relegation

And in the 3rd season, played 12 and am 10th in the league :p

First season won the last game of the season 3-1 to take the title because Coventry lost 1-0 at home to Birmingham, haven't started second season yet..... super squad, sold Deano for £300,000 and Harrison and Pollock are off to Sunderland for a total of £6m...... planty of Swedish talent in the team :D

I took a different route i decided that i wanted to see how Bruce did on his own! He got sacked after being second bottom then Danny Wilson took over and we stayed up!

Not doing to well in the 2nd Season!

I however am Rushden manager and came 2nd in my first year to an unbelieveably good Luton now am 5th in 2nd Division!

I'm also with Leigh RMI and I'm having a nightmare! All my central defenders are injured so I'm having to play a reserve team player with an average of 3 for each category, and a 16 year old signing I rushed through! Oh yeah, and I have no money. My best player is getting 4s for each game. Despite this and my best result in the last 6 games being a 0-0 draw, the board is still pleased with my performance!!!

The Swedish players are definitely the best bargains. I have 4: Teddy Lucic, Andreas Andersson, Michael Antonsson and Peter Holm. I found them all using the scouting system which is definitely a lot more useful since the fog of war was introduced.

I finished second in the first season beating Watford on the final day of the season to go above them on goal difference. I was 19th in my second season but kept my job and won Div 1 on goal difference from Millwall in the third season. I am currently mid-table in the Premiership in Season 4.

I haven't played my game in ages now. Everytime I play I just get put down because I lose every game and play crap all the time. Luckily I started the season off well so I'm still like 5th. Guess I'd better be careful ay Jaffa! ;)

Took Palace up in my first season, and ater 15 games in the prem im 9th not doin to bad but have played a game more than the teams at the top.

Decided to not take over Palace - I have a habit of taking over them at a later point in the game.

I'm second at the moment with Leeds, around 3/4 of the season gone. Started badly, but have only lost 1 game in my last 15. Viduka is transer listed and playing in the reserves though - he asked me for 70k a week!!! Cheeky b@stard!! Ventola was a good replacement at 3.5m over 12 months!

BIG, BIG mistake!!! In my game, Viduka Got English player of the year with an average of 8.29 and scoring something like 29 in 31.

yeah but i did really well first part with freedman black exallent holding second but second part i was crap finished 15th but clint and martin were really good and ginola was in the 1st div select

After starting really badly second season i started a new game

came 6th after failing to win in final 4 games after about 15 without defeat 5 points between top 6 7 points beteween 6@7
lost on penalties in play-off final after 2-2 draw to Portsmouth

Mentioned it on anohter thread but for those who haven't read it I would like to brag some more. ok....so, In my 1st season I came 2nd with Richie Wellens getting my player of the year, 2nd season, I won the premiership on the last game of the season due to beating the runners up Arsenal. 3rd Seasons not going great but Konstantinou and Defoe are proving to be superb signings.

Still can't sell Viduka, even put his value down to £0 and no one was interested. Find it really frustrating that I can't get rid of him, I thought these problems had been eradicated. I've played him 14 times this season and he has only bagged 1 goal!! Pablo Aimar is my star, paid £20m for him!!

I was going to get Pable Aimar. I so nearly got him but didn't have the money for both him and Defoe so I just had to stick with Defoe has he was younger. imar went on to go to Atlanta! :( he'll soon be mine! :)

Viduka uped his demands to 90k a week!!! Luckily after putting him back in the team, and with him playing well, I managed to negotiate him back down to 55k.

Man Utd just signed Figo on £110,000 a week!!!!!!!!!! :eek:
