Vernazza

The papers, radio, television and digital media (including the ever reliable teamtalk) last week reported that Mr Vernazza had been on trial at Palace with a view to a permanent move.

It would now appear that this is dead in the water after Vernazza scored at the weekend for the Arse, or am I merely assuming.

Has anyone here seen Vernazza? Is he worthwhile persuing an interest in. Does he meet the high standards of previous Arsenal academy messrs Black, Gray and Taylor?

Yes, dead in the water surely after his first goal for the club. Same goes for Charlton left back Konchesky, another Palace target who was praised by Curbishley on Saturday. It seems that players perform miracles for their club when Palace target them.
