Paula Yates died in London yesterday (Sunday 17th September.) Police confirmed that they were treating the death as suspicious.

It is believed that Amphetemines, Barbiturates and Cocaine were found - but her other child is still reported as missing.

Dave, don't get me wrong its a sad day for all those people who knew her but to act like she did and call those kids Fefe trixable la-la and po or what ever it was is a bit unfair don't ya think. Hardly going to be missed as much as ..... um....Princess Di.

As none of us knew her, I think it's a bit harsh slagging her off! For gods sake, four children are now without a mother!

Tell me what did she ever do to harm any of you? At least she didn't go round using the sick and lame to score points off her husband like Diana did!

Even though she led an unconventional lifestyle, she didn't pretend to be anyone else other than herself. She always came across as being genuine to me, and whether you liked her or not, at the end of the day no-one deserves to die at 40.

Rant over, and Diana fans, feel free to flood me with insults, I couldn't care less. I for one will miss Paula more than Diana.

It seems ironic that "phsycokiller" is sticking up for Paula Yates in this way. They did say she died in suspicious circumstances, they also say she was a bit of a "phsyco".

Before I pass on this fresh evidence to the authorities, tell me Phsycokiller, where were you between the hours of 10 and 11 on the morning of September 17th?

No further questions your honour, no further questions.....

I was purely using Di as an example, but since you push the point, if you fill your body full of drugs its your choice. The women was a fruit loop towards the end. Not slagging her off just telling it as it is!

That's as may be, but she was also a much loved mother of four children. Her youngest is now an orphan at the age of 4! And don't try to tell me that Diana wasn't a fruit loop too!

Put yourself in their situation!

Speaking to one of her ex colleagues today, it transpires she was a very silly and depraved woman. I cant tell any of it on here, though those who know me personally, I'll tell you in the pub on Saturday.

its good to see something else on the news and in the papers other than the petrol crisis, she would probably have been a bad parent anyway, there better off without here.

She was alleged to have been a bad mother, and addicted to noxious substances, but she appeared to really love Michael Hutchence, and obviously couldn't go on without him, so she experienced something most of us never will.

Still, she's dead now, and I think it is unfair to start slagging her off over the Internet, now libel laws no longer apply.

I just hope her youngest child isn't the victim of some tug of love court case, between Geldof and the Grandfather, compounding her grief.

What twisted logic is this?
No one deserves to die at 40?
She killed HERSELF. Despite having beautiful children and wealth beyond our wildest dreams
Don't be absurd, if your children aren't reason to live the f**k off.

James, I find this comment both insensitive and ignorant.
It is almost certain that Paula Yates was
suffering from clinical depression, which may have been as a result of any number of things, including the doubt and pain of her real father's indentity and the premature death, in bizarre circumstances (though not classed as anything out of the ordinary round Chocky's house), of the father of her daughter.
Depression does not respect wealth, or fame, and is often an acute and destabilising condition. If you have not dealt first hand with the suffering experienced by people with depressive illnesses, than you cannot possibly understand the overwhelming nature of it.
Paula Yates may have left her young children without a mother, but others have lost it completely, and taken their kids with them.
I do. of course, still regard her as a publicity seeking, talentless waste of space......

What happened to Yates recently happened to an aquaintance from my local. Her kid was in the room when she ODed. Awful.

She had tattoos and was a drunken heroin addict, but she didn't call the child Toosie Mudfap Flangebucket, so that's where the similarity ends innit.

Stella,
Clearly my comments were a little ott but I still (poosibly through inexperience of the reality of these matters) cannot comprehend the tragedy in suicide.
Yes I am sure that depression defies logic but I simply cannot understand the desire to take your own life when there is food in the American style double door fridge, money in the oversized bank account, a permanent roof (probably several roofs) over the head, and the love of beautiful children.
Maybe, just maybe this is proof that no matter how rich, influential and famous you are drug abuse will always get you in the end.
Sorry again Stella no offense meant.
