I just started my new season with palace, spent all money, yet i am still only 18th. Can anyone suggest any good tactics? Also any tips on training as I cant be arsed to sort it all out. I have signed Selakovic and Jaime Clapham.

I use a 2-3-2-1-2 formation which normally is pretty effective. Play Carlisle and Harrison as the wing backs with the squad you begin with.

If you have any money left at all then try sending a scout to Sweden as there are loads of good players available for very small fees. I got Andreas Andersson and Teddy Lucic - both internationals - for a few hundred thousand each.

If you have no money try some loan players. Akinbiyi and Vassell both did well on loan for me in my first season.

Start in the Conference and try to work your way up.

Cheers, i have just signed Lua-Lua on loan and he scored two in two. I will send a scout to sweden as well. Who do you reckon is best at the back and in midfield for palace? Rubins is supposed to be an important first team player yet Mullins is only back up!:eek:

Popovic at centre back is good with either Fan or Berhalter (although probably best to get another central defender).

Pollock and Hopkin both did well for me in midfield although Aki, despite being the most valuable player, never really did much.

I sold Kolinko and Rubins for about £0.5m and £1.2m to finance other buys as I wasn't playing them and didn't want to lose their work permits.

buy kallstrom , bakircioglu and barsom for attacking options. You'll get all 3 for less than a million at the start
