Why not? He's been in Everton's reserves since recovering from injury and scored a hatful of goals at this level for Forest. Should be able to pick him up for about £2m and he's a proven goalscorer.
Lets face it, we're not going to get much better for the money....

I believe he's still recovering from injury. Unlikely to leave Goodison if you ask me.

Campbell would be a terrific buy and think probably is out of Walter Smith's plans as he has Ferguson and Jeffers (Allie look alike - me and Psycho private joke). Do think we'd get him at 2 million? How old is he anyway? What did he do last season?

Good call.
Campbell is an excellent player, scored loads of goals on his return from Ferencvaros (sp?), but unfortunately got injured last year. Everton now have Jeffers, Ferguson and also Joe Max-Moore (US International) on the books and so they`d probably be open to offers.
Still think for 800k Andy Booth represents superb value for money.
At 300k, Brucie does not

He was out injured for most of last season and I can't see Walter Smith playing him and Ferguson up front together as they're too similar. Everton picked him up for £3m, but as he's not played for ages I reckon he'd take £2m for him, and I'm sure Campbell would love to return to London.
He'd also be a good foil for Morrison. I don't think he and Forssell are effective enough - we need some real physical prescence up front.
Come on Smithy, make a bid!
