Does anyone else find that a massive number of goals go in during the first couple of minutes, and almost instantly after your team scores.
Or is simply my crap defence.

No no, I have to agree. I have a good team and a good defence but this still happens. :grrr:

If the commentary tells you that your opponents 'seem keen to get an early goal', then chances are they will! Not much you can do to stop it.
But what I find even more amazing is how many goals are scored between the 40th and 45th minute. Anyone else experience this?
This is on 00/01 BTW.

I have 2001/2. But I still see what you mean...if you're on form and you're playing a crap team then it won't say that...but if you're playing someone half decent then it will and they do occasionally get the early goal. Quite annoying.

What I find more unrealistic in cm00/01 is the number of time you hit the woodowrk, i hit it at least 3 or 4 times every game. Also the fact you barely ever score from free kicks unless you've got recoba :o
If you get cm00-01 try to get jan vennegoor on a free, he is awesome!

Very true indeed. This has been the case in probably every CM that's been out (ex. CM Quiz :D).

in 01/02, the opposition keeps scoring in the 53rd minute! it happened in my pre-seaon friendlies against croydon, bromley and crawley, and in the first four matches of the season so far.

anyone else notice in 00/01, that within the first 20 mins the team you are managing has at least 1 penaltly apeal turned down?
