From the Reserves match report (Cheers, Alan):

"Of interest tonight were the appearance of two triallists, both of whom played for around 20 minutes in the second half. The first, Kiatisuk Senamuang (captain of Thailand's national side) operated in central midfield, whilst the other, Freddy Cadieu (a Frenchman) operated in attack for the latter part of the game.

Additionally there may have been another player watching, since there was a Chinese chap in the executive area who was wearing
Palace training gear - although I no not who this was.

It's too early to make judgement on either since they didn't receive the ball too often, but Senamuang showed he has some pace
and Cadieu looked physically pretty powerful."

Well, does anyone have any further info on our Thai, French and Chinese guests?

Not yet - but if I find out any more I'll let you know. Senamuang had a spell at Huddersfield (only a trial I think since he does not appear to be on their books now and didn't have a squad number there).

Cadieu - one of the Palace players was telling me - looked quite good in training. It wasn't the type of game where either got the ball a lot so it was difficult to judge them and they only played about 20 mins each. Senamuang was putting in curling outfield corners late in the second half and showed that he had some speed. Cadieu looked powerful enough on the ball but it was diffcult to tell.

Next home reserve game isn't for a month and I'd expect them both to get another run out at least.

Tony Finnigan was there as per normal these days so I assume he was acting as agent for at least one of the players.

We may loose sight of both the Thai & mystery Chinese - they'll both be off to the Asia Cup with Fan for a month. (PS - nothing against China - but wouldn't it be great if they lost early and we get our guy back!)
