Nah, its more likely because he's on the books for the Wright, Wright, Wright agency. They seem to like to give their players nicknames - their man "Costa Plenty" was also on trial here in the summer.

"Zico is having trials at Crystal Palace. The Greek goalkeeper who played for Burnley on Saturday has just signed a three year contract with the Lancashire club."

isn't this the keeper who played against us in the 2 cup games??

do we need another keeper?

he did look pretty good though.

Two seperate stories, here:

Zico is the nickname of Kiatisuk Senamuang, the Thailand Captain, who appeared for the ressies last Wednesday. He was previously on trial at Huddersfield, hence the news story on their unofficial site. He's not the goalkeeper referred to in the next sentence.

The keeper is the guy that played against us in the Worthless whilst on trial for Burnley and he has just signed a full contract for the clarets.
