Topic born out of lunch at The George today.
What is the drunkest state you have ever watched CPFC in.
Unfortunately I have too many stories of this nature and in fact feel like posting the 'soberest I've ever seen Palace' thread.
However I digress what is your drunkest Palace story. Put it here.

Too true, however I due to a period of abstinence a while back was forced to watch my first Palace game in recent years totaly sober. I was appalled at the standard of play and could not beleive how long the game took. Luckily the next week I had had a few beers and my wonderful Palace were back again as they should be, sadly it was all over to soon.

Never touch the stuff anymore. Bovril is as strong as it gets, and if I'm feeling really wild I might buy a packet of plain crisps and dip them in the bovril.
However, a few years back, infact a lot of years back when you could drink on the football specials it was a diferent story. If travelling from Euston there used to be an offlicense opposite station which didn't ask your age and provided a nice plastic bag to carry items in (and throw up into later on).
We used to buy cider, served in those big glass bottles with the handle (flagon?)

Again too many too mention. One really bad one was on Simon Rodgers debut at Sheffield Wednesday. We got to Sheffield around 10:45 am and was knocking on the pubs door at opening time, we eventually leaved the pub after downing chasers at 15:15 missing most of the first half, if I remember rightly we lost 4-1.

Many, many, many moons ago I found myself incoherent at Hartlepool Station on a mid-week afternoon prior to Crystal Palace playing them in the first leg of the first round of the league cup.
I was totally bladdered and remember writing offensive graffiti on the walls of the rail way station.
The rest of the evening was a blur ( I found out the following day that we drew 1-1 ) and after competing in pub quiz in Stockport ( do not ask me how I got there )I woke up on the floor in a flat in the grottisest part of the North East going. Ah happy day ! http://cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

A few claasic drunken days watching Palace for myself. The worst was Bristol City away when we lost two nil and had Bobby Bowry sent off. Been on the piss till 3am Saturdasy morning, and turned up at Victoria station at 7am to meet up with my mates still pissed. Before getting the train at 8:30 I had already consumed 4 cans of Fosters, and then consumed 6 bottles of Holsten Pils on the train to Bristol. Being pissed at this stage I promptly fell off the train on arrival at Bristol. Got to a pub at 10:30am, which started serving us cider, and by kick off I did not have a clue where I was, and wasn't bothered by the result. On the train back I had a can of Stella, and proceeded to puke all the way back to London

I remember playing Norwich at home on the last day of the season a couple of years back, and being so drunk that I had to watch the entire match with one eye closed, as I had the most pronounced double vision I've ever experienced.
Problem is these days, is that I've built up too much tolerence to the bloody stuff. Drink from opening till the match starts every week, but still feel half sober.

Ipswich away 1995 - A hot saturday in August meant thirsts needed to be quenched! 2 Cans from Bromley up to London & 4 more on train to Ipswich arriving at 10.45 - wandered into town to get a burger and find an open pub ended up in the Swan? near the theatre 4 more pints in an hour.
Drum & Monkey for 8 pre-match pints. Game passed in a blur - we lost 1-0 (dodgy pen, I think). Back into town in search of open Pub finally found a hotel downstairs bar open near Town hall. 4 more pints with chasers before training it home & more cans & spirits on the way!
Eventually got back to London Bridge about 9pm and upon coming out of the station heard a huge explosion, smelled acrid smoke and looked up to see a blood red sky streaming with smoke - I was terrified! I thought I walked into a terrorist attack and started running around screaming and knocking people over - one of my more alertcompanions then pointed out that this was in fact the VJ day celebration firework display over the Thames.
I ran away again (this time in total embarrassment) and caught the first train out of London Bridge (which of course wasn't the one I wanted) and ended up phoning Suetext to come and pick me up from Anerley station - when she found me I was nearly asleep in the road outside - one tired and emotional wreck.
Upon checking my wallet and with friends the following day, I reckon I drunk the equivalent of 21 pints with an untold number of chasers during the day.

Pre match, cans for breakfast, then pub:

Never cared about the match result, as I spent too much time worrying about suddenly hurling on the bloke in front of me. ALthough I think we won, as something inspired me back to the pub:

I think you know the answer to this one already.
Liverpool away 1-2 Gabbiadini got the winner forget which year.
Drove to Birmingham NEC. Drinks on the train to Lime Street. Drinks in the big old Hotel over the road upon arrival (thanks for booking me in for the Tranmere wake). Drinks in the Philarmonic, more drinks in another boozer round the corner.
(That idiot Steve F paints half his face red with borrowed paint and then finds that there isn't any blue left.)
Met up with some bloke with a papadum basket on his head because he made the mistake of arriving sans-hat.
Arrive at pub 200 metres from Anfield that looks more like someones house. Fall asleep on the stairs. You wake me up and I then proceed to do a Kev T for an hour and 45 with one hand over my eye because of beer induced stereo vision.
Out on the raz all evening and Martin wakes us both at 6 in the morning by barging into our room, waving his index finger around and saying "ere lads smell that, genuine scouse minge".
He then goes onto to regail us with stories about how his victim's 3 year old had jumped on his back whilst he's on the job.
Ah happy days!

How hot is the BBS?
If you can imagine Debbie Harry wearing Kami Knickers, spoonfeeding a vindaloo to Pans People in a sauna in Bankok - that's half as hot as this BBS

PALACE V QPR - last season !!! http://www.cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/smile.gif
I just remember starting in Thornton Heath and drinking in every pub on the way to the ground and then having to climb (sorry crawl) up the stairs of the holmesdale upper tier then after the game, I caught a train to Victoria and somehow ending up on the Queen Mary boat by Waterloo Bridge and getting home at about 9am the next morning !!

None in the past 20 yrs, but several come to mind. Left Upper Norwood (Friday night) (Albert, Railway Tavern) with 12 mates, we caught a train to Victoria and then to Paddington (bar of the Great Western Hotel, asked to leave) boarded train to Bristol. Strolled around Bristol in terrible a state, barred from every pub we tried to enter and ended up at the City Ground only to find out we were not playing them. Watched City play Chester and had horrible journey back to Upper Norwood to find out that we had a game against Exeter! Right part of the Country wrong City! http://www.cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/embarass.gif http://www.cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/embarass.gif http://www.cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/embarass.gif still http://www.cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/embarass.gif when I think of it today!

Ok - Well, Fulham didn't quite live up to expectations did it? I'm gonna make a determined effort to put things right for Stockport. Smirnoff for breakfast, breezers for the train and hitting the Portmanor at 11 for pints of Guinness, each with a Double Vodka Red Bull chaser.
