Oh, i think i've been mistaken here.. i just want songs to put on a CD of that type, all the ones you buy are usually half good, half crap.

No ulterior motives. Honest.

They do say that side one of the Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' is a well-timed build up to 'The Great Gig in the Sky', which of course sounds a lot more like Meg Ryan than death. (Of course, that may be why people who have had near-death experiences say they aren't afraid of dying!!)

* Lets get it on - M Gaye (as has already been reported here)
* Rapture - Anita Baker (top 'getting jiggy with it' album)
* A selection of the Isley Bros slower tunes (shows pure class)
- Living for the love of you
- Summer breeze
- Highways of my life
- Dont let me be lonely
- Between the sheets (naturally)

Ah ha, now thats what i'm talking about.

Boyz II Men - I'll make love to you
Usher - Nice N Slow
Jagged Edge - Promise

The entire Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto CD - the one including The Girl from Ipanema on it. I'm not a jazz fan but this frankly rings my bell.
I also like Mono's Formica Blues but this may be a little too haunting.
Otherwise, Morceeba's Big Calm still has it but she may think you're a bit of a walking, talking late night music cliche.
Any Cafe Del Mar CD is good.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac is good for helping one's rhythm whilst sinking the lizard.:D

If you don't actually get to sink said lizard, then you can always put on Turning Japanese after she goes home.:D :D
