This is from today's Advertiser, and seems to rule out your suggestions. Mind you De Bilde is a very good player who I'd love to see at Selhurst.

Palace are turning to Scandinavia in the hunt for a striker who can solve their goal-scoring crisis. Chairman Simon Jordan has expanded the club's scouting network to cover much of Europe as well as South Africa. With scout Steve Kember and Barry Simmonds also trying to dig out home-based talent, the
search for new players has been intensified.
Palace are considering a bid for a Scandinavian international to strengthen their forward line, but have not revealed the identity of their target. Once he recovered from his early injury problems, Swedish international Matthias Svensson proved a huge success at Selhurst Park. And Finn Mikael Forsell also played a vital role in the escape from relegation last term. Palace plan to extend the loan of Paul Kitson to provide extra cover in the forward line. But they have ruled out a move for Leicester's Stan Collymore. Jordan says Palace are aiming to strenghten their squad in all areas, but
emphasises this is no detriment to the players already at the club. He said "I am
clear that we need new players to add to the value of the squad. That is not to denigrate the other players, it is just to add to the value of the squad". But any
bids will probably be put on hold until after October 31 when the European Union is due to rule on the transfer system.
