Went to see Ian Brown last night in Sheperds Bush. Pretty rubbish really, apart from F.E.A.R and My Star. Missed the warm up acts (was late) and the main act was only on for just over an hour. At one point he added a bit of Stone Roses to a song, that got the biggest cheer of the night.

i have to disagree i'm afraid. I went last night and thought Ian Brown was superb. I thought FEAR and Dolphins were the best. Its a shame if you turned up late because the support act was also pretty good.
Did you notice Oasis sneak in to the VIP bit? - i walked past that All Saints bird that one of them is dating and she was lovely. :p

Saw the Roses at Brighton a few years ago Brown's voice was terrible, and I don't think that much has changed. Love the man's lyrics and the influence he has had is incredible, but he can't sing.
You missed a treat btw, the support were the electric soft parade, who are an up and coming band. Saw them support the Who at the Albert Hall last month and they were very impressive.

I'm afraid I didn't hang around afterwards, so I didn't notice any celebrities. Whereabouts were you lot standing/sitting. I was close to the front, right next to the bar in the standing area. Got a really bad sore throat now, not sure if it was because I was standing next to some bloke who was smoking super skunk all night or whether someone was just spreading germs.

I've posted this somewhere else, but it's worth repeating: Rumour Mill Inc. is currently churning out reports of a Roses Reunion Summer 2002. Not sure if I can believe it, coz John Squire has consistently claimed it will never happen, but it would be pretty amazing if it does happen.
Third Coming...?

They were offered £1m to perform at V2001. They turned it down, i cant imagine that changing.
Am I the only one who thinks Ian Brown dances like a monkey?

In that case do you think Glastonbury would be hoping for too much? If the rumours about a summer 2002 reunion are true, I can't think of a better venue than that! I think your right though, the rumours are probably just rumours.
Anyone going to Glastonbury this year?

I like ESP, but the fact that they come from Brighton raises the possibility of them being Brighton fans.
