I am a big lover of all music. From Pop to Rock, Classical to Rap but can an artists actions really turn you off thier music.
An artist is sometimes someone you idolise and want to be, you might have liked them since you were so young you cant remember when u first started to like them. But does anyone on this board still listen to Gary Glitter on a regular basis after his little incident of child porn on his computer. For me its R Kelly, I love his music, smooth, sharp, with great lyrics and beats but I found myself not looking twice at the Cd whilst in my car at the moment and at home. Is this because he is being accused of sleeping with a 14 year old girl ??? They man hasn’t been found guilty yet but it looks pretty certain after JZ the famous rapper decided not to release their joint album as he though it would give him bad publicity. If R Kelly was innocent wouldn’t a guy who I imagine is his friend stick up for him as they have just done an album together.?? Has this happened to anyone else over different artists/groups ?? Or am I just a weirdo ??

Yeah, I used to be into band called Seven Mary Three, and when I saw them live I was let down. But you can say the opposite about bands you have never heard of. When I was in England I saw King Adira play in Bristol and was really turned onto their music just by their performance. Good stuff they are!
