FOOTBALL: SIZEABLE TASK FOR CHARLTON

CHARLTON boss Alan Curbishley has warned that his team cannot hope to match the achievements of Sunderland because of the size of The Valley.

Charlton will ensure their Premiership return if they beat Nottingham Forest tomorrow and Barnsley fail to win against West Bromwich.

But Curbishley said: "Sunderland are in a different league. It would be great for us if we could get 40,000 fans in for each home game like they do.

"We've got a difficult situation here. If we are promoted, we will still be in the bottom four clubs in terms of ground size. We need a ground.''

Not only are Sunderland well supported, they also have a good team!
Sorry Charlton supporters it is going to be a very long season for you, I would wish you luck, but luck has nothing to do with staying up!

"We don't care about Charlton". I keep hearing from the e-girls. Why are you starting topic's about Charlton?

At the end of the day who's position would you wish to be in.

Palace £20m in the red, only Noades seems to want the club, which will have the whole of football laughing, due to the years of the fans trying to out him and now turning 360 and wanting him back, it's even made Noades laugh. All your best players will be on there way come the summer.

Or to have a go in the top flight with around 12m to spend on players. If we spend the 12m it still will not take us in the red. Even if we do come down the club as a whole will be in alot stronger position than yours. We have the best board in the country bar none and their real fans unlike Noades, or the so called Mr Lim, whoever he is.

The choice is yours?

You tried to reach for the stars to fast and now you expect the rest of football to pick up the tab.

Red Adair what is your point?

I took this from the Daily Mirror and the comments are from your own Manager! I would like to wish you luck, but that will not help you!

Any team that goes up from the 1st Division will have a hard time unless that have, money and a LARGE supporter base.

Your ranting is what we Palace supporters have come to expect from the like of you, attacking us is not the way to go. By the way your inferiority complex is showing again!

Since when have Charlton, or any other UK club for that matter, been expected to pick up our tab? You have no idea what you're talking about Red.

Are you going to start slagging Sheffield Wednesday now for the fact that they're in dire straits due to spending too much on crap players too? No, I thought not.

We want nothing from you.

The big surprise about that article is someone from Charlton actually saying anything that makes any kind of sense. Is Curbishley constipated and therefore unable to talk out of his arse like he usually does?
