FOOTBALL: SIZEABLE TASK FOR CHARLTON
CHARLTON boss Alan Curbishley has warned that his team cannot hope to match the achievements of Sunderland because of the size of The Valley.
Charlton will ensure their Premiership return if they beat Nottingham Forest tomorrow and Barnsley fail to win against West Bromwich.
But Curbishley said: "Sunderland are in a different league. It would be great for us if we could get 40,000 fans in for each home game like they do.
"We've got a difficult situation here. If we are promoted, we will still be in the bottom four clubs in terms of ground size. We need a ground.''
Not only are Sunderland well supported, they also have a good team!
Sorry Charlton supporters it is going to be a very long season for you, I would wish you luck, but luck has nothing to do with staying up!
