Is there any way that we could boot out the muppets that constantly infest this board trying to wind us up. For 5 minutes it might be funny, but it is really starting to get on my wick. This Rolling mist geezer is an absolute nobber and appears more interested in bragging about their magnificent 1-0 victory on our site than worrying about how the F*** Curbishley is gonna keep em up next year. Can anyone help?

Yes. Ignore them. It works for me.

The away fans forum was setup to keep away fans off the main boards and give them their own space to have a rant. A lot of people seem to enjoy the banter, but if you don't, simply don't visit this forum. If they decide to register on the BBS and post in the other forums, what they say and do is monitored and if they step out of line, their place of work or ISP can quickly be informed.
Just lately I think Rolling Mist has been ok, although when he first visited the board, I'll agree he was acting like a twat. I admit, the whole Charlton thing bores me to tears now, so I don't generally read what they have to say anymore. They'll soon get the message when people stop rising to their bait.

Bit concerned about your reply Kevin. Completely agree about keeping Charlton off the site but your bit about informing their employer seems ridiculous. Does this mean you play God and if anyone -Palace or not- puts up stuff you disagree with you might report them? Hope if someone loses their job because they shouldn't be on the net then you don't feel too guilty!!

Justin I can assure you that the only person in any danger of losing his job is Kev.
What time did you get back this afternoon then Kev?
hello all
i don't normally come on here but thought i might make a visit. i note your comments about idiots coming onto bbs's and being iritating. just thought you might like to know that we've had one of your own on our board making a complete fool of himself. yesterday making jokes of the leeds fans who died as well as all the usual stuff. i guess we all have to suffer them.
cheers
Highly unlikely anyone's going to lose their job because of posting on here, but if someone registered and posted untold abuse on the other forums, or threatened violence, or anything like that, they can be dealt with accordingly.
Then I will smash the c**ts faces in.

I don't know the url of the site where the offensive post was posted but in the interests of balance there are two Leeds' message boards I know of where Palace fans have posted messages of condolences, once again my deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the two fans who died that night.

Justin,
I was just implying what could be done. Difference of opinion is one thing, but outright abuse of the BBS is another. You can rest assured, warnings would always be issued first - nobody's playing God. So far, to my knowledge such actions have never been necessary, apart from perhaps once with a idiot Chelsea fan who went too far, after being warned many times. He wasn't accessing from work anyway, more likely kindergarten.
