HA HA HA,
lets all have a good bit of banter with the Palarse Pikies from Gypsy Hill.
No place of their own, they'll all be towing their caravans eastwards to glorious Kent, the garden of England, to stay for the weekend while they watch their beloved joke of a team lose yet another game of first division footy.
They stand by helpless whilst Wimbledon waltz into Selhurst from Plough Lane and make that ground their own.

PalarseNut,
are you sure you'd fill the priestfield with season ticket holders alone.
Palarse fan in the office is one of them 5 year season ticket plan thingymebob holders and he's already said to me that he won't bother making the trek to kent every other weekend.
How many more of your so called die hard fans will say the same.

I wil for a start but will your caravan still be parked outside the valley when you get relegated next year??
Rolling Mist
02-06-2000, 08:20 PM
I can always be found at VFR.
My caravan however won't be there, as by then I would have sold it to Uncle Ron's Caravan Rental Co in Gillingham, who no doubt will then hire them out at extortionate rates to travelling Pikie Palarse fans who won't know better.

02-06-2000, 08:34 PM
Rolling Mist, no-one has confirmed we will be going to the Gills, and if we have to move, I was hoping we could go to the valley, so that some of your fans wouldn't have far to go to see a good footbal team play.
See you at Selhurst in just over a years time.

Budgie,
unfortunately you won't be able to play at the valley because of our egg-chasing rugby league tenants. Who is to say that we would let you scum in anyway?
Palarse playing good football? I think the Broncos could play better footy than your lot.

Albion Dan, copying the Seaweed - not a chance.
Rolling Mist - obviously the stench of the fairground following him around.
The whole ground packed at Gillingham then a return to a capacity at Selhurst or a new ground. The Valley will be empty when you get relegated (all the glory hunters gone), and the Withdean holds about 6,000.

rolling mist if & when we do go to the gills, I do'nt think you'll be able to criticise our support coming from a **** club like yourselves, bearing in mind our average gate over the last two years has been around 17,000 & that's with all the **** we've been going through!!! how many would you get???
we would still get a decent average at priestfield as our supporters are LOYAL, unlike all of the sad maggots who go to the valley of darkness every week who have finally crawled out of the woodwork.
p.s. we only hate the brighton!!!!!!!
p.p.s see you in two seasons!!!!!!!!!
le piddler when we had the plesure of sharing Sellhurst we were promoted in the same year .We also managed to stay in the top flight for 4 years, correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think Palace has enjoyed that small level of achievement in the whole of it's history .
Will you have a small flutter on them next season @33\1....no, thought not waste of money give it to the trust .
le piddler
03-06-2000, 01:36 AM
for your information t**t of charlton we had 4 consecutive years in the top flight
at the start of the seventies & also four seasons @ the start of the nineties when we reached the cup final etc, (1990 season beating you three times, but unfortunately they would'nt let us keep you) so at least get your facts right!!!!!
le piddler who you calling t**t your the one with the stupid name or is your idea of humor. Anyway thanks for the info I did nt know you lot were ever that good , I stand corrected. Well thats all history now lets both look to the future.
Le Piddler, question for you sir.
This fantastic, loyal support that Palace have. How many of this 17,000 loyal, Palace till we die support of yours actually made any form of contribution to your supporters Trust ???
Wasn't 17,000 was it ?
You may well sell Priestfield out with ST holders, only because Palace have cashed most of your season ticket cheques already !!
Lets see if you do go there if you are still selling it out in 5 years time.

There is one thing more sad than using the internet to read about your team, and that is to use it to bait someone elses.
Look boys - go out, get yourself a tidy bit of crumpet, and get yourself a blowjob and a life.
Says she posting on the net at 11.10 on a Saturday night !!!

No-one going to answer my question about how many of those 17,000 regular fans gave a penny to the Trust ?

Well, in all fairness it probably was. However, not all Palace fans could afford the £1000, so we gave donations and every penny we could muster. Even a Charlton fan I know contributed to the trust, however he could only give £1 because his lucky heather wasn't selling very well.

Coke Addick why don't you just go and play with the traffic you silly immature clown.
Sounds to me as if your wrists are killing you !!!
All that late night, err, typing I mean.
PS. Why did you stop writing Only Fools and Horses ?
Charlton's fans are a joke. You'd think they'd have their minds on the premiership, but no, all they want to do is come on our site and play at being our rivals as usual. Sorry lads your nothing to us. Do you think if the tables were reversed and we were the Premier team and you were the club up s**t creek we'd all be on some clownton site giving it the biggie? Of course not..we can hardly remember who you are now for heavens sake.
Incidently the efforts that charlton fans made in the late 80's and early 90's to save their club, (which all you fairweather fans who have suddenley appeared since Wembley 1998 try and pretend you were part of, where you f**k) were down to a mere handful of people. Did you have average crowds of 16-17k, Did you have 8,500 season ticket holders signed up by the end of May like we have now? In fact did you even have half that amount watching your sad anorak wearing little team at all in those days? We all know that you love to delude yourselves about what great fans you are, but the fact is we are here for our team now in its darkest hour. How many of you who now enjoy the good times your having can say you did the same?
Ahhhh, dont like a bit of Banter?
As a true Albion Fan it is my divine right to take the piss out of you lot whenever the opportunity arises! I hope you do not go bust, just suffer for a few years, which is basically all that survival means for you anyway.
And isnt the whole point of an Away Fans Forum so that there can be banter with other teams supporters????

Matt Lawrence has been superb even if he did make a blunder for the first goal today, he sends his best wishes. If we can keep Cody MacDonald for next season and a few of the others that are out of contract then I predict promotion and for us and relegation for PalARSE which means 2012/13 season we shall meet again.

How is it easy money. If you had put it on Palace getting relegated from the Championship or old 2nd Division on each of the 28/29 seasons we have been there you would have lost 200 X 28 = 5,600 notes by now.

Cambridge were still in the League then - and a lot higher up than Girlingham are now.
Palace have NOT been knocked out of the FA Cup by a non-League side since December 1963 (lost 1-3 away to Yeovil, 2nd Round - after thrashing Harwich & Parkeston 8-2 in the 1st Round). But that season, we got promoted to the Second Division - a feat which took Girlingham over a 100 years to achieve - light years behind Palace as per usual.
So - Palace have had 48 years NOT getting knocked out by non- leaguers and counting - eat shit (again) Girlingham!

It will come as no surprise to anyone that this is yet another fairly one-sided "rivalry" involving the Jills, stemming from a play-off match (held at Selhurst funnily enough) which Swindon won.
When Swindon got relegated they were licking their lips at their matches against Oxford. I'm fairly sure our six fingered chums barely gave the Jills a second thought. Just like everyone else.

Cant you read....theyre the team with the smallest squad, smallest ground, smallest crowds and smallest playing budget in all four divisions (and most of the Conference) who STILL managed to beat your lot 7-4 AND qualify for the play offs :clown:
Wrong answer, you clearly didn't get the intended pun. Muppet :moo:

Shrewsbury v Stevenage will be the final. And Shrewsbury will make amends for Simeon Jacksons last minute winner a couple of seasons ago.
I remember it well. I was there with my Gills supporting mate.

It was a good day for sure. Pity we couldn't kip the Canadian Dynamo.
By the way, I've only just noticed this rating individual posts malarky. Thanks for all the comments ladies, gents and Zohan the superior intellectual God.

Oh I got the pun ok.....but fans all over the world will know who Accrington Stanley are thanks to the advert youre referring too as well as their iconic name and interesting history, unlike Gillingham FC.

As you don't seem to care much for The Mighty Gills I do have a suggestion for you...P1ss off from the thread that has the Gillingham in the title! :hi:

Genuine question (I know Palace have lost to lower league teams in the past) but when did we lose to Cambridge in the cup? The only time I can remember playing them was in the Qtr finals in 1990 and we beat them 1-0 :)
I'm afraid 12bellies is correct, cambridge turned us over 2-0 in the 3rd round on a friday night about 10 years ago........they were only in the division below us then though......no where near as shameful as losing to dover.:p

No, I dont have a lardy ass, in fact Ive never owned anything resembling a donkey (although I did once have a book with Tony Adams on the front)....however, I do have a lardy ARSE, the result of eating a pie every time my current local side Stanley pissed all over Gillingham :p and for what its worth my name is actually TONY :hi:

Yup, Accy Stanley, world famous for milk. Gillingham, famous across the south for being the home of pikeys (alongside Charlton)
I do miss the mighty Gills, always had a way of beating us...
