Waste of money

I understand Palace's Academy will be touring New York soon. Perhaps Mr Patterson can tell me how spending thousands of pounds on this can be justified when the club is on the brink of extinction and the players are unlikely to get paid next month. Is it any wonder the club is in such a mess? If anyone else feels strongly about this, they can contact the club and Mr Patterson. Having an Academy is all very well but surely we've got to get our priorities right at the moment.

The Germans involved in TV have actually taken over and are already implementing their new plans. The travel to NY is to make a TV show along the lines of a popular series of movies. 'Palace Academy' will tell the tale of an inept group of youngsters thrown together so they won't trouble any proper football club. After many hilarious misadventures involving lots of balls in the groin area they save the day by ensuring the club retains its League status. It's all very far-fetched but there are people who like this sort of thing so it could probably be stretched out to seven or eight sequels.
