super charlton I would say that a game with charlton to us is like playing Barnet or Orient. Yes it is a London derby but lets be honest it is hard to get worked up about teams who mean so little to us. I notice that you are not the only clownton pathetic anorak persisting with pitiful attempts to be our rivals. If you read the latest Total Football magazine it contains a supliment with a review of last season written by fans of all the league clubs. Does the charlton one mention a really sucessful season? Does it relish the though of charlton piting their wits against the cream of football next season? Not really it just has little digs at Palace throughout. Now I wouldn't mind this sort of thing from our rivals Brighton, but from you lot it is just embaressing. Amusing you quote getting to a cup final but you cant gloat that you've won it. I won't claim to being there bacause 1947 was a long time ago, but nonetheless it's another thing that we have over you. Super Charlton. I would have to be totally stupid to beleive that Palace are better at playing football than charlton right now, and to not admit that thay are, in footballing terms, the best team in south london. However thanks to Goldberg and others many teams are better than us these days. But the point that you fail to grasp is that being better than us seems the most important thing in the whole wide world to all you charlton fans. To us the fact that you are better than is no more significant than the fact that Barnsley, Bolton or Bradford happen to be better as well.

Having said this you will never have the LOYAL support and passion that we do. We are the number one fans in South London. Perhaps this is why you still hate us so much.
