Is anyone going to any? I've got my Reading and V2002 weekend tickets at the ready! All I need now is food money.

Went to The Isle Of Wight Festival a couple of weeks back & it was a top weekend. Starsailor & Ash both played storming sets, but The Charlatans were the undoubted highlight!! Top band :p
Going to see Oasis @ Finsbury Park (Mainly to see the Charlies again & BRMC), got tickets to see the Sex Pistols & we're hitting V2002 @ Chelmsford for the weekend again as per norm. Can't wait to see the Doves!!! Top band :D  :D

I hate you two. When I was a lad.................................gits.:D
Going to Reading and possibly Glastonbury if some free tickets I've been promised materialise. Couldn't afford to pay for V2002 - by all accounts Reading is better, but there are some bands I wouldn't mind seeing playing there. :(

I couldn't be bothered with Oasis at Finsbury Park this year, I saw them at Shepard's Bush last year (top gig) and I can't see that a gig with 10 times as many people there will be any better. The tickets were really expensive as well. Maybe I will change my mind and wish I had gone if their new album is earth shatteringly good/original but I can't see that happening at the moment.

The Oasis album isnt bad at all. Not as good as Definitely Maybe, but then again better than Be Here Now. About the quality of Whats The Story (Morning Glory)?

I'm going to Rock Wechter in Belgium in two weeks, been four times now and it's always brilliant - line up is usually good and tickets, food, beer etc are much cheaper than at British festivals.
This year's line up includes Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Chemicals, Bush, Queens of the Stone Age, Faithless, Coldplay, White Stripes, Air, 2 Many DJs and BRMC.

Going to Oasis at Finsbury park, don't know what day as my Brother has sorted the tickets out.
Am toying with the idea of getting a day ticket for Reading but i'm unaware of the lineup yet.
In my misspent youth I did Glastonbury, Reading, Phoinex and Donnington before I came to the conclusion that living in a tent is bollox.
B&B for me now on, the best festival I've done would have to be the Ozzfest at Milton Keynes bowl in 98, Slayer, Fear Factory, Ozzy, Ozzy + Sabbeth & Soulfly all in one day and I was tucked up in my warm bed in the early hours with no need for living in a sleeping bag on a field of piss.

Mmmn, nice line ups...
Prefer the one with The Strokes etc, but Ash and Muse at the other day :(

Cheers Twyford, at first glance it looks like Reading on Saturday for me.

May well pop down to Guildford. I know it's a bit old and middle class, but then so am I. I'm intrigued by Dead Men Walking - Glen Matlock (Big Fan) Pete Wylie (likewise) Mike Peters (hmmm) and Kirk Brandon (uh-oh).
Fun Loving Criminals are on and my wife has the hots for Huey. Like to see Howe Gelb from Calexico/Giant Sand too.

www.efestivals.co.uk is the best site for general festival news.
If you want to go make sure you get your ticket very soon, weekend tickets are all gone and day tickets are selling fast (Ticketmaster still have tickets left for all 3 days at the moment).

Ive allways considered Whats the Story(Morning Glory)? to be their best album. Actually that one they did with all the be sides weren't bad, but then again it werent great either.(the masterplan i think).

I shall be heading down to Worthy Farm in Pilton next week for the Glastonphant festival 2002 :)
I expect to be going Thursday morning 'fresh' from our World Cup semi final victory Wednesday lunchtime and, hopefully, will watch England win the World Cup Final on Sunday 30th, in a field in Wiltshire :)
Leeds has been refused an entertainment license:

I don't know whether this will effect Reading though...

Michael Beavers said that they won't be showing the World Cup final on the big screen at Glastonbury.
It's a shame Guns and Roses are only playing Leeds, I'm sure they will still get their licence though.
Mong!
