I wonder if Nick Mason will turn up to play on 'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun' as he did last night. There were grown men near me welling up when he came out and they were sobbing with the emotion of it when him and Rog hugged at the end. Perhaps it'll be Richard Wright tonight which would make the Glastonbury gig raise an interesting possibility...
Excellent show and the guitar duel at the end of 'Comfortably Numb' was superb.

Yep Mason turned up, the guitar work was superb, Snowy White was excellent, Andy Fairweather Lowe was unrecognisable, Katie Kisson, Tessa Niles and PP Arnold were amazing. A great night!
Only problem was that he played so much Floyd material, it showed how weak his solo work was. "Money" was fantastic, the highlight of the show.
The sad news about John Entwhistle on the way home though, brought us all down to earth with a bump.

Andy Fairweather Lowe, very under rated. He was superb in the Clapton shows I have seen. Why he did Wide eyed, I'll never know.
