SAMO - here is a quote from one of your more respected BBS'ers "Resorting to pure abuse is usually a sign of weakness - when the argument is lost. It is far more effective to use humour (even cruel humour) to get your point across."

So I guess you lost.

Ode to a CAFC Supporter:-

whilst at school you can always spot the Charlton followers, They are the slighlty tubby kids (they prefer to call it puppy fat)whom, although not enough to be a problem, acne scabs tend to dominate their facial features. They are the ones who quote all the un-interesting football facts, that everyone thinks have you a life?

They leave school, and get a solid job on the railways, which also fits in with their hobby!

You can now see Mr Charlton FC walking round in baggy blue jeans which swing wildely just above the angles, with those fabulous stencils of the flintstones on each knee. They generally have an up to date football shirt, and have had one for each of the last four years (of which they are very proud), but before then, well, Trains generally took up their spare time.

I sometime see a couple of Mr Charltons round my way, and i think "ahhhh, I hope Charlton do well today, as he deserves it with a life like he's, bless him!"

LOSERS - so you think your "Ode to a CAFC Supporter" was witty then ??????

It is just playground humour and about as funny as woodworm in a cripple's crutch.

Fish-boy, It was actually an honest account of the CA supporters I have met, and the impression they have left me with, in the same light of everyones impression of scouse supporters (perm, shell suit etc).

maybe it was a bit close to home!, never mind, Charlton are doing well!
