Glad to oblige - I can think of a few (in no particular order)

John MacCormick, Tom White,Tony Taylor, George Graham, Jimmy Scott, Iain Philip,
Gerry Queen, David Provan, John Loughlan,
John Hughes (best goal at Selhurst)
Willie Wallace, Charlie Cooke, Alli Brown,
Roger Hoy, Stewart Imlach, Roger Hynd?

Back to the original question what is Freedman up to not that I'd want him back , but I did enjoy those goals against Wolves.

Strictly Palace, ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON !!

Which is exactly why we shouldn't get him back. I used to like Freedman and was upset when we got rid off him, but that's history now and we have to look to the future.

Dougie had all the ability to be a great striker. Sadly he thought he had made it and stopped working for his goals, expecting everyone to make the perfect pass, and ended up moaning at everybody but himself when things did not go his way. A wasted talent who I would not like back.

Clinton should beware.

I wonder if he'll sign for £200k in the very near future.

Are you genuinely wondering Jon, or have heard something?

Jon Thompson

I think that Kitson would be the same price, but his wages are a lot more. If we are going to sign a big man to start games then Freedman is a better value sub than Kitson. Also, we will need a replacement for McKenzie.

So you were genuinely wondering then!

I think the trouble with Dougie is that he's been consigned to the "attitude problem" bin. Whilst not in the same league as Stanley, one can't argue that he simply hasn't fulfilled his potential.

However, at about 200k he'd be a snip if he could get back to something like the form he showed when he first arrived. The boy does have class.

Jon T first menioned we might be signing Dougie on Wednesday and mentioned £200k. This morning it was £500k, and now it's £600k!?

We sold McKenzie for what, £50k? I hope Dougie is lots better than McKenzie, but I doubt he's TWELVE TIMES better!

Palace do it again. Sell cheap, buy big.

We couldn't have gotr any more for mckenzie, as peterborough don't have any. The price is high cos clubs will sell players for as much as they can get, and thanks to genious chairman they know exactly what we've got to spend

Good point, if his only role is to sit on the subs bench and make Clinton start soiling himself into playing then this could be a very shrewd signing.

But, my Leicester compatriot, Peterboro' do have cash as they got a couple of million for Davies and Etherington who they sold to Spurs for something like £2m.

But thats besides the point...McKenzie ain't worth a bag of pistachios.

Zohar, the 2 million plus that they got for Etherington and the other one, will be used for administration of the club. Thats something a certain Mr Goldberg didn't do. If Peterborough spent the 2 million, they would not exist next season.
