mp3.com still has downloads. Limewire is the best Mac application to use for downloading 'evaluation' copies of songs. It runs on OS X and, considering it's written in Java I expect it will work on OS 9.x as well. Be aware that the free version contains a bit of spyware.

If you're talking about playing them on the Kazaa player Oz, it won't work if you are offline or disconnected! Cheeky innit ;)

OzEagle, try this, go to My Computer, C Drive, Program Files, Kazaa, My Shared Folder. Now if there are any tunes in there double click them and they shld be able 2 play. Just a thought..

Al.........If you just want the tunes downloaded straight as mp3 then take advanatge of the free 14-day, 50 downloads trial at emusic.com. You have to key in all your credit card details and then you cancel the account before your song entitlement is used up. That site is particularly good for funk/hi-hop/urban/soul music but covers all genres. However, since it is a legitimate site and all records on there have the permission of the record labels, there are massive gaps in its collection. Best to have a look at the catalogue before paying any cash.
Check your PM basket.

Even if Kazaa, winmx, edonkey, and their ilk cark it, free music cannot be stopped, There are a plethora of "ftp servers' or individuals, swapping music, all you do to connect to these is start using "IRC" (inter relay chat) so when eventually the powers that be, kill orf the file swap programs. One will still be able to file swap.
So clue yourself up guys. and get onto www.mirc.com and try and help yourself reverse the closure or the freedom of the net ;)

Just to throw a bit of light on the above, Ive got no idea why the above link was removed, (some kind of gentlemans agreement between money making programmers maybe),
But to let anyone reading this thread know, its not a smutty thread, i was letting people know that all shareware has cracks available. Also the site lets people know just how vulnerable, net users are and how fixable that vunerablity is,
Question why EXACTLY was it removed ??

If you are on mac, use Acquisition to get your music.I find it finds more songs than Limewire. It is shareware but I use the free version which has a pop up evry 15 minutes which isnt really a problem.
