Dave

I know you like talking about it at every opportunity ;-)

Do you think you could repost your ADSL info (cost etc) on here again - since the thread has disappeared now.

Cheers ...

OK:

BTOpenWorld Home 500 ADSL

Cost:

£39.99 PCM (Only payable via credit card)

Setup: £149.99 or free if you preregistered:

Requirements:

PC Running Windows 98 or higher
Free USB port
32 meg of ram and some free diskspace
Optional: Graphics cards/soundcard

Installation:

Providing you are with a set distance from the exchange setup is simple 30 minutes job. Your primary phone line connection is replaced with a dual connection PSTN/ADSL socket. One socket for phone one for ADSL.

A 'slug' modem (external) is used to connect from the ADSL connection to your PC via USB.

Performance is great- around 12 times faster than a 56k modem. Your phone line is also free to be used whenever.

Hope this helps
