Its fairly academic anyway, but I heard yesterday from a good source that Baardsen is not rated by the club.

I agree. Baardsen is a great young keeper and would be surely the best in Div.1 I heard that he has said he will join any team that can get him into Norway? or wherever he's from. The reason Spurs will sell him is coz he has Walker (**** but played for england which is why he is before baardsen) and Sullivan the undisputed no.1 at Spurs. He wants a move and we can afford him. He would be a great investment for now and the future.

Baardsen is indeed one of the finest goalkeeping talents around today. He nearly pipped Walker for the first team shirt two seasons ago and has played once or twice for Norway. I say he will develop into a great keeper if he's given a proper chance.

Does this imply that the club are considering purchasing a new keeper then Neil?

They're talking about 2 million, can we really afford to spend that on a goalie?

Just had a look at the Palace Echo site, why does Digby want to leave then? Has he realised that w are trying to replace him and its hurt his pride?
