I was in cycling in Greece recently and agree
there were many women lying face down on the beach wearing thongs.
It gave me plenty of places to park the bike.

Just as well I'm wise to what 'thongs' are here in Australia. Booked a trail ride with the local stables last week and the owner said 'Oh it's very casual here, you can just wear thongs for the ride'.

Having said that, wouldn't mind seeing a few of the Aussie girls at the stables out on a trail ride in thongs (English sense of the word)...heh heh

It's the school holidays, and all of our wonderful local youth are out causing the usual summer mayhem.
Recently, a mob of them have taken to riding their stolen bikes up and down the pavement in our street, throwing lighted newspapers into our bins and riding away in the general direction of Hades.
Lat night, my wife's thong came in very useful as a catapult.
The youth in question is now taking up a valuable bedspace in the Royal Free Hospital, while the consultant determines the best way to remove a ball point pen from his ear, without doing permanent damage to his brain.
The answer is simple, of course.
Bang it in with a hammer......

I have just returned from Cyprus, where I happened to see a number of people (Male & Female) wearing thongs either on the beach or around the swimming pool.They are all ruddy exhibitionists as far as I am concerned and I had a good mind to tell them so.Darned show-offs - The lot of them.

Were you one of those wearing a thong, Trolley, and is that the source of your hip trouble on your Trolleydays thread?

I, like many on this BBS, would stand up for the right of an elderly gentleman to wear a thong, although I would advise a course of vigorous exercises to get those cheeks in shape. Could you be the model for those hilarious post cards entitled "beach bums" which normally show 3 female arseholes, apparently the same one in many UK and Mediterranean resorts?

I shall be on holiday from this Thursday in Northern Spain and will not be wearing a thong, but will be modeeling a small roll of flab which seems to be peeping over the top of my swim shorts, due to a mixture of corporate entertainment and lack of exercise.

Years ago when I was a naughty boy I got the double act from a couple of detectives. One would give me the "you're going down" treatment anf then, when I was suitably convinced, the other would cxome in and say "You know son, you could just tell us and you never know, you might get off".

As far as I am concerned,thongs are for ruddy exhibitionists who quite frankly often have nothing to be proud about.Whilst on holiday last year, I saw a foreign gentleman of my era who was wearing one of these ruddy costumes and he looked a sight to behold.Everybody was looking at him and thinking the same way as myself - I had the urge to inform him that he looked ruddy awful and should cover up forthwith but my good lady wife advised me to keep my council and ignore him.
I can understand young chappies finding thongs rather attractive on young females but it is the fact that people flaunt around seeking attention which rather gets up my nose.Show-offs,Exhibitionists - Call them what you darned well like.It is the character and the nature of a person that is important not just their looks.
