Kendall rejects switch
Palace reserve team keeper Lee Kendall has rejected the chance to leave the club and join League of Wales side Barry Town.
Former Eagles youth team boss Peter Nicholas was keen to sign Kendall who has come up through the ranks at Selhurst Park.

Kendall who hails from south Wales but he couldn't agree personal terms with Nicholas who has ended his interest.

The 19 year old played for the reserves in their win over Ryman League outfit Banstead on Tuesday evening after returning to the club.

Kendall is third choice at the club after Matt Gregg and Fraser Digby but did make the first team squad last season.

heard tonight at the reserve game that he had gone?? he certainly wasn't playing / sub tonight.

Shame if he has gone - he was looking to try and get a chance given the poor run of form our 2 1st choices - and I reckon he might be / have been worth a try....

According to Steve Kember tonight Lee HAS left Palace.

As I said earlier at the reserve game though - I'm a little surprised - he is a good 'keeper and with things the way they are I would've thought he should've fancied his chances right now.
