I will be forgetting about festivals this summer mainly because i won't be in the country but also because I will not be unfaithful to Glastonbury and i will be locking myself in a smelly toilet with a couple of bottles of jack daniels and a massive speaker with some loud tunes for the weekend it was due to take place out of respect for her.

How many days ? when ? and how much ?
Apparently the peppers hate England which is a shame as they are a serious class act, they pulled out of Glastonbury the last time I went 5 years ago, which was a bit of a chocker as they top of my list of bands not to miss.

Oh August 18/19 so presumably 2 days, would help eliminate stupid questions if I bothered to read the post properly but still like to know how much ?

Isn't V2001 the catalogue number of the original Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield?

I got my camping ticket for V2001 on Monday for £82 & I am definitely looking forward to it as I have been for the last 2 years & it is much better than Glasto & Reading in the way it is organised, location etc & it is'nt full of hippies & students!!
Looking forward to seeing Embrace & Toploader & not forgetting Shed 7!!
Bucket Bong it is the weekend of 19th August & the bands are on Sat & Sun but if you camp you can go down Fri & come back on Mon.Day tickets are around £40 I think.Hope this helps!!

middle aged accountants my fecking arse!!! I just think that V is by far the better festival than Reading in that it has the better line up (including the Charlatans!!) whereas Reading is too rock orientated & V has 2 massive stages as well which means you get a great view of the bands whereas I had to stand in a crappy tent last year for the second stage to watch the mighty Embrace & Muse!!
By the way I will be camping all three nights, but I may go in the Holiday Inn for a quick shower!!

I thought the V festivals were for middle aged accountants who can only stand one night of camping and two days of 'having it'. Looks like I was right again. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif
Who's the designated driver? Will you actually stay in the local Holiday Inn? http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/tongue.gif
