Try singing the Spanish football classic:
Olé olé olé olé - olé olé
It always works for getting tunes out of your head.
Only problem is you'll be going around singing:
Olé olé olé olé - olé olé
all day long.
Long time passing.........

Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the flowers gone?
The girls have picked them ev'ry one.
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the young girls gone?
They've taken husbands, every one.
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the young men gone?
They're all in uniform.
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Oh, when will you ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the soldiers gone?
They've gone to graveyards, every one.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the graveyards gone?
They're covered with flowers, every one.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Young girls picked them, every one.
Oh, when will they ever learn?

Hey Penge - wasn't Bobby Russells was it?
One day while I was not at home
while she was there and all alone
The angels came
Now all I have is memories of Honey and
I wake up nights and call her name
Now my life's an empty stage
where Honey lived and Honey played
And love grew up
And a small cloud passes overhead
and cries down on the flower bed
That Honey loved
And honey, I miss you and I'm bein' good
And I'd love to be with you if only I could

Just think, Bobby Zimmerframe is sixty this month. Does that make him eligible for a concessionary season ticket in the Holmesdale?
If so, what would his song be for next season?

Off down the 24 hour drug store for the card and then off down to the Station for one of those bikes they leave laying around http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif
Please pass on our best wishes for HER birthday and we hope you take HER out for a meal and several glasses of wine.

David,
No problem, it was a bit frustrating that everytime it came to my turn I had to sing the same line as before...
I think you meant Bobby Goldsboro...
BTW when I did Where have all the flowers gone at school, I'm sure my teacher said it had been written (and performed) by Bobby Dylan. Do you know if he had any connection to this song?
Imagine my disapointment when the first time I heard it on the radio it was by those tossers, Peter Paul and Mary, Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch etc etc.....

I think it was Dylan who wrote this. The other piece reffered to is Brian and Michael and their sparking clogs. They don't write em like that any more .Thank God.

It is possible that Dylan recorded it - but it was written in 1956 by PETE SEEGER no less.
No-ne else can claim it I'm afraid http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif
