We have recently signed my workmate (at Sainsbury's! well Ex now) who is a good friend of mine to play for Palace under 19's! His name is Gareth Gwillim age 17 and is a very good player. He plays in Midfield and is left footed, he has been signed from Welling Utd!!

What a scoop!!!!
If he reads this, good luck for the future and get into that 1st team!

The kid over the road from me has just been signed up by the academy. Amazing how quickly a Chelsea fan can change his colours.

But the most important thing can any of these players tell the difference between the GOAL and the area surrounding it cos if they can stick em in the first team for gods sake we are getting really poor!!

Everyone have a look in their last programme and look at the Under 19 section with the fixtures in. Look for Gwilliam he's played every game so far http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

Nope - he missed the last one Neil - wasn't even on the subs bench (injury ?) - he hasn't scored yet though so he can't be that good http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif

If he turns out to be crap, it's all your fault, Neil! http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif

A mate that I go to school with plays for Palace under 17, has played every game (well hes come off the bench for 3 matches) and has scored 2 so far I think. His name is david Bailey and hes a greta young striker.

I reckon so, he's been in the starting 11 every time except the last game (not even on bench) so he must be injured.

bugger, hes out of contract in a couple of months typical! He also is out for about 8 months so dunno if we will keep him or not http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/frown.gif If we give him a new contract then that must be a good thing!
