Here we go folks. It's pretty clear that while the Goldmine is doing well overall (profit of 26.31 as of the day I start this thread) it's sometimes losing because people are putting in value tips rather than the dead certs the thread is looking for.

The Value Shop aims to help out and offer a thread for people who can see value in a bet.

For a tip to be in here it has to have the following qualities

1) A price of at least 1.3. This is lower than the Goldmine threshhold but sometimes a price can be as low at 1.3 yet still great value. Example being Nalbandian versus Pless w/c 13/9/04 where Nalbandian was 1.31 in one place yet generally 1.1 - 1.17 everywhere else.

2) A chance better than the odds suggest. Like the Goldmine, bets need to have explanations. Don't just stick every 50/1 horse down and play the percentages. We want to know why you think a particular bet has a chance at the odds suggested.

Other rules

1) Each way bets are allowed. Sometimes a tip won't win but at fat odds, the each way terms can make it worthwhile. This is allowed but please quote the e/w terms i.e. the paces and the odds for a top 2/3/4 finish. All e/w bets entered will automatically be 1pt e/w making a total of 2pts being placed (and subtracted if you lose)

2) A change from Goldmine is that you can choose to bet 1 or 2pts on your bets. 1pt for your standard tipa nd 2pts for a value bets that's nigh on certain such as a 1.3 shot that really should be 1.1.

3) More lenient than the ban system in Goldmine as picking 8/1 shots is obviously more risky than 1.5 shots but again, this is to be done seriously and we want tips that you really think have a good chance.

So that's it guys, may the betting commence. This is not a rival to Goldmine but between the two threads we have outlets for publicising all good bets and hopefully the BBS can whack the profits up.

Let's face it oz, there are bets that need to be shared (your Ginepri, stigma's Empoli one etc.) and are good bets but you wouldn't stick them in Goldmine because they're not dead certs.

Value bets can get swallowed up in the general banter in the Betting Thread.

They need an outlet to stand up on their own right.

Besides, you more than anyone needs an outlet for your tips given your ban!!! :D

Great thread, Grim:p (will undoubtedly be a regular on here too)
My first pitch is actually on my own Norwegian team Start.
Division one: Start – Moss, head to head, win Start, odds: 1.35 (Expekt, Unibet. Ladbrokes offering 1.33)
(Game starts at 1500 hours UK time)
Start the best team in the Norwegian 1.division with the stats 10-1-0 at home. Can if other results go there way celebrate promotion tonight. They are currently leading by 16 points with just 7 games remaining in the season. Start have got no injury problems and are firing on all cylinders at the moment. Moss on the other hand are in a bit of trouble, just 4 points above the relegation zone. They are missing 2 players and there is also some doubt about there captain. This week it was also made clear that there coach will be fired after this season and a new one has already been appointed ! That is never good for team moral.
The home win is at odds 1.35, but one could even have a look at the handicap bets (Centrebet for example offering 2.20 with a 2-0 Moss handicap). But that of course depends on when start get there first goal..Start’s normal goal score in home games: 3, away team 0.6..
There’s party celebrations prepared in Kristiansand tonight (the champagne is already on ice) and I don’t think our team will disappoint..
2 pts please:)

Sorry Grim, I too don't see the point in this thread - Why do value bets get swallowed up in the betting thread????

Also value bets are welcome on Goldmine - surely a value bet is only value if it wins!!!!!!

Now we have 3 different threads........and don't worry you'll still get the same problem of "chat" which is just as likely to submerge tips here as anywhere else....

Anyway just my views - I'll keep off this thread now.....

Ok, here's a nice one from the Norwegian Hockey league. The first match of the season, and the bookies have been far too generous with the odds on the home win.

Storhamar - Frisk Asker - 1 - 1.45 (expekt)

Norsk Tipping have 1.25 on this, and the only reason it's as high as 1.45 is because Frisk have had a couple of good seasons. But this year they have lost several important players, including their top scorer. Pundits reckon they will be happy to reach the top half of the table this time.
Storhamar, on the other hand, are gigantic favourites for the title. At least as strong as last year, and everyone expect them to win this one easily.

ManU vs Liverpool
Ryan Giggs to score at any time
10pts @ 4.3-1 with Betfair
http://global.betfair.com/?mi=2088378&rfr=114

strikes me as good value, most bookies going at less than 3/1
http://bestbetting.com/Default.aspx?market=13834920&help=false

he is starting in front of the midfield so you would imagine he is bound to get a few chances

In truth on this kind of bet Betfair are always a lot better than the bookies (especially if you look at Riise, 13/1 against 6/1 with one bookie)

This is spot on.

This is where you have the chance for each way stuff as well remember. Using an example, I did Nicholas Kiefer e/w at 33/1 in a US tennis tournament in spring. He didn't win and in reality it wasn't a dead cert (of course not at that price) but he did get to the final so there was a pay out of 16/1 on the e/w part of the bet.

It would never have been put in Goldmine because it wasn't a dead cert yet had there been the Value Shop, people could have seen it and profited all the same.

Others that spring to mind are oz's great Ginepri straight sets bets at 9/1 in January and stigma's 13/1 on Empoli over Inter Milan - neither were dead certs but both were great value given the build up and both won.

(from betting thread)

For tonight I like the look of Sunderland away at Crewe (2.30)

Sunderland come into top form the last few weeks with 3 straight wins and scoring plenty.
Crewe look like they will be having a tough season and are shipping loads of goals.

Earlier in the season (when Sunderland were poor) they played at the SOL and Sunderland won 3-0.

A good bet in Sweden today:
Trelleborg – Halmstad, away win, odds: 1.85 with Centrebet

Barrichello and Schumacher dual forecast 1/2 (any order)

7/4 with Ladbrokes

Price a little high due to this being a new track in F1. People still uncertain at how to play it but with Ferrari's expertise and finances behind their testing and experimenting it's hard to see how the Ferrari team will allow their clear dominance to be eroded by this factor.

The pair have finished as the leading two on 8 occasions already this season so 7/4 is great value.

Britain to beat Austria @ 5/4 with Victor Chandler

There's two things you can say about Britain in the Davis Cup.

1. They always get relegated from the World Group
2. They always bounce back from the Euro Group

As we're in the Euro group, one should expect us to jump straight back. Well, it's not quite so clear cut as Britain travel to Austria, looking to create something of an upset.

Reasons against the bet

Match being played on a very slow clay track
Rusedski still coming back from the enforced lay off at the start of the year
Austria's main players all semi decent (forget Julian Knowle - he's crap)

Reasons FOR the bet

Henmania in great form for the whole year INCLUDING clay courts. Not just Roland Garros but a good run in Monte Carlo as well.
Rusedski going well since Wimbledon (12-4)
Henmanian and Rusedski 8-0 in doubles.

Fair enough that Britain are underdogs but at 5/4 it looks worth the gamble to me.

Melzer to beat Rusedski in straight sets. 2.22 with Betfair

Goes against what I said earlier in this thread but Melzer was always likely to win this one. Having just seen the slowness of the court, Rusedski's main weapon will be nulified.

Melzer will be aided by seeing his teammate win so easily and if their No.2 can beat our No.1 easily what's it going to be when it's reversed?

Melzer also destroyed Rusedski on clay in St Polten.

2.22 is the value. :p

Well I’m going to ruin that perfect score with this value bet today:
Charlton – Blackburn, away win, odds: 3.75 with Playit.com

I think the Hughes effect will strike tonight, Blackburn will get stronger and rise upwards in the table soon.
Charlton are going to struggle a bit this season I feel and I think Blackburn easily can win this one. And with the odds as high as 3.75 it’s surely worth a wager on.

si1965

For those of you not brave enough to go for the straight away win for Blackburn:

Blackburn 0, +0.5 2.075 Premierbet

Blackburn without an away win this season face a Charlton side unbeaten at home. Looks like a straightforward home win, however, Charlton have a couple of injuries in defence: Jon Fortune (twisted ankle) and Luke Young (hip and groin) and Blackburn will be keen to put the humiliation of losing to Bournemouth in the cup behind them. I also expect the new manager Mark Hughes to begin to have an effect - he will be keen to build upon the victory against Portsmouth and put some distance from the relegation zone.

As an option you can also get Blackburn +0.5 1.76 at Ladbrokes.

After my "endorsement" Rovers will probably win now. :p

Ok.
Value thread input.
Wassen 4.5 to beat Saretta 2-0 Bangkok Tennis.
Wassen first round, first match up for 4 months, pounded Andreev, a quality clay courter, 6-2 6-0. Saretta is also a clay courter, of similar ilk.
Saretta’s form on hard is abysmal.
Wassen may have come back better than ever. Worth taking the risk. He’ll either hose up, or get whipped. I fancy the former, 4.5, too good to refuse.

Tis true . I spent about 4 hours sifting through information to come up with my bets today and i've been betting on the European cups since the first qualifying rounds this season so i already had some knowledge of the teams involved ....Hopefully this work will pay off tonight :hmph:

One thing i am steering clear off now are the 1.2 / 1.3 dead certs after discovering that my hit ratio with these is no better than my 1.7/ 1.8 bets

No it wouldn't, that's exactly the sort of thing that we want. Ten losses followed by a 25/1 winner shows that if you keep plugging away then PROFIT can be made.

If we keep sticking with value then the wins will come.

fed up[ with thinking of weinners and not pyutting them up. Bradford's upset win at Leeds in the Super League last night beingthe latest.

Hopefully I've got it right with this now that I've remembered.

NFL
Philadelphia Eagles @ Chicago Bears
1st Quarter over 7.5 pts
6/5 or 2.2

Philadelphia 1st Quarters so far this season have been 14-7; 7-3; 14-0

Philly red hot this seasona d always seem to explode from the off.

Chicago quieter and have been lowish scoring in the 1st Quarter but the combination of decent QB and WR Terrell Owens should take the score to at least 10 point first quarter.

Right you lot, do yourself a favour and get on John Kerry to win the US election.

2.56 Betfair
2.5 bet365

How he's this price is beyond me. After last week's Presidential debate, Kerry has now taken the lead in the polls.

All other indications are that very few voters have switched sides since the 200 election meaning it's likely to go down to the wire once more. on thatoccasion more people actually voted Democrat but they still lost!! With more people than ever registering to vote (20% more voters in the marginal seat of Florida for instance) the feeling is that many people will come out to 'make up' for not voting Democrat last time.

Price may not last long as the Vice-Presidential debate takes place tonight. Normally it carries little significance but in such a tight race it could change perhaps just 1 or 2% of voters and that would be enough.

Democrat John Edwards is the future of US politics and this could the night he cements his place in the top part of US politics. Dick Cheney meanwhile is as experienced as you can get. Not saying who'll definitely win this one but with Edwards' background as a trial lawyer, he knows how to debate and win people over. Not only that but he has the looks, unlike Cheney. Surely this doesn't matter? Wrong! Never been a bald president in the 230+ years - it shouldn't matter but it does. Not that Edwards is going for presidency himself but US voters are notoriously swayed by non-political factors like looks.

Still a month or so to the election but if Edwards hits the right buttons tonight the 2.5 price may be a distant memory.

Imagine a coin-tossing contest. First to ten and heads was 5-4 up. Then imagine someone offering heads at 6/4 to reach ten first - you'd do it wouldn't you???? GET ON KERRY!!!

Won't pay out until mid-December but it's a great investment at 1/3.

BBC Sports TEAM of the Year

Europe Ryder Cup Team @ 1/3

With Federer (1/7 for Overseas Personality) and Holmes (1/16 for the main prize) having made themselves unbackable (bet365 won't allow doubles and trebles!! :hmph: ) thsi represent a great bet at a decent price. The destruction of the US when UNDERDOGS (!) was sensational. The Olympics rowing team did well and are 7/1 but as the Europe win was over three days AND more recent it'll be this that the punters remember whne the votes are cast.

From the betting thread, I believe this is value.

"McCulloch (1.85) against Jimmy White. McCulloch is a no nonsense tough player who gives no one an easy ride. This is a tough one to call at any time but (I've no idea how common knowledge this is, everyone may well know this by now) I know for a fact that Jimmy hurt his back quite badly last week playing a pool exhibition match and nearly pulled out of this tournament."

To be honest this is going to be close but when I heard what Jimmy had done I didn't expect to see him anywhere near Preston this week, there's no way that he is 100% fit and being comfortable in your stance does make a big difference - he could barely move at the weekend.

Also Ian McCulloch is from Preston and this is his home tournament. a factor? no idea but can't do him any harm.

Steven Maguire 17.00 to win Grand Prix at Preston.

Bet365 opened the market (closes around midday) this morning at this attractive price for an EACH-WAY bet. The draw is opening up beautifully at the bottom end, a quarter final with Hendry is Maguires biggest obstacle and over 9 frames and early in the season playing well theres every chance he will win that one. Other than that its a cruise to the final...

1pt each-way (small stakes obviously at 17.00)

First crack at the value thread.

Bathurst 1000 Supercar Race.

Car 15 Greg Murphy/Rick Kelly @ $5.50

Murphy won this race last year. Fastest in early qualifying. Main reason for this bet is that unless they have a prang, they'll finish the race. If they finish the race then they're more than likely to be in front when the chequered flag drops.

Insipid sport though.

king's chapel, $5 the place in the Cox Plate.
going to be a small field, and this horse is well up to it.
beadman has stayed on board for the past 3 runs, beaten a lip by grand armee last start, grand armee close 2nd fav...will have the final crack in the Plate...
if he runs them close tomorrow, he could be 3rd fav at about $5 the win...well worth the risk, the Plate has always been his goal.
1 unit the place for value thread.
i still can't get his 2nd up run in NZ out of my head.

Hers one with a bit of value:

Exeter v Carlisle
Exeter with a patchy home record were beaten 3-0 by top of the table Barnet last week. Carlisle are the form team and have also scored 11 goals in their last two away games.
There are a number of options from the straight win [2.25 for the away win (Victor Chandler)] to the Over bet (not sure of odds).
I like the sound of the HT/FT option
Carlisle/Carlisle 4.0 (Stan James) with a covering bet on Draw/Carlisle (5.0 Stan James)

Leigh over Whitehaven in the National Lge Play Offs for the right to go to super League next season (English Rugby League)

-1 on the handicap 10/11 Paddy Power

Leigh have been in the last two Grand Finals and have only been denied by the might of the previous year's relagtion team being strong enough to bounce back up. This year the pattern was finally stopped as Halifax, the relegated team, were woeful and were never a threat. Leigh have been seriously gearing up for Super League for three years now and tonight's the night it will finally happen for them.

Time to get this value shop thing back on the road.

and the road its back on leads to Slovakia

Dubnica and Zilna (2.65 and 2.50)

top two in the league away to 7th place (out of 10) Puchov and second bottom Trnava respectively. Got to be decent value hasn't it even though this is a notoriously difficult league to predict.

Singles on both- one comes up you're laughing two come up you're happy as larry.

OK lads, lets venture into the sport of kings for the value thread.

Desert War @ $9.00 win and $3.00 place in the Caulfield Cup.

Won the Epsom Handicap at Randwick last start as easily as any horse has won any of the big mile races run at Randwick over the last 30 years or so.

A quick glance at the history of the Caulfield Cup will show that not many horses win, or even run in the Epsom prior to the Caulfield Cup. This is primarily because trainers like to follow the traditional path of running their charges in the weight for age races in Melbourne leading into the Cup.

Whilst you won't find a lot of instances of horses with form out of the Epsom due to the reasons above, there have been two in the last 15 years that have gone on to win the Cup.

Cole Deisel won the Cup in '89 on basically a sprinters preparation after winning the Epsom and in '97, the great Might And Power obliterated the Cup field after running 4th in the Epsom.

The risks with Desert War are:

1. Untried at the distance (2400 metres) but is bred to handle it and the way it finished off the race in the Epsom, where you basically need a horse to be capable of running a strong 2000 metres, would indicate that it should get the trip.

2. Never raced in Melbourne. The Sydney racetracks are all clockwise whilst in Melbourne the tracks are anti-clockwise. If a Sydney horse is going struggle with the reverse way of racing in Melbourne, history shows that it will usually do so at Caulfield.

The upside of these couple of question marks about the horse is that we're going to get 8/1. If you knew that it would handle the Melbourne way of going and that it would run the trip, the horse would be 6/4 based on it's win in the Epsom, so it's worth taking the punt.

Also on the plus side, rain is forecast for Melbourne later in the week which will help as the horse likes the sting out of the ground, the horse has drawn barrier 1 so it should get the run of the race and it's being ridden by Scott Seamer who won this race in '01 aboard Ethereal and has a knack of winning big races.

As for the others in the race, I wouldn't touch the favourite Elvstroem with a barge pole. Been beating handicappers at weight for age getting ready for the Melbourne Cup and meets many of them poorly at the weights in the Caulfield Cup. Also a risk at the distance despite winning the Victoria Derby over 2500 metres last year against it's own age.

Summing up, this horse could be the next star of the Australian turf. If it is (and we'll find out on Saturday), then 8/1 each way is simply too good a price to ignore.

1 Point each way thanks Grim. :p :lux:

Another evening of WC Quals, and another evening of value offers from the bookies.

Yet again it's the over/under bets that seem to be the most juicy ones.

Betfairs 1.71 on under 2.5 in Norway-Slovenia is awesome. These teams are not exactly notorious scorers, and tend to keep the amount of goals to a minimum. Saturday Norway beat Scotland 1-0 :D, and Slovenia beat Italy 1-0. Tonight we're in for 90 mins. of muscles, long passes, and astute defensive play. A lot of goals? Nah.

Edit: "Syntax error" in my head.

Value for the weekend comes in the form of Poli Ejido at home to Gijon (2.00)

Not so high odds, but still excellent value in Expekt's 1.55 for Storhamar to beat Lillehammer in norwegian hockey tonight.

A local derby, which Storhamar always wins. Last years champions, and they have the best squad this year as well. Lillehammer, considered very mediocre, have won only 3 out of 7, while Storhamar have won 5 out of 6. Norsk Tipping has this as low as 1.30, which seems about right.

I'm very confident of the "away" win here.

Sunday 5th December
V Klitschko v D Williams
Williams to Win 5.5 Gamebookers & William Hill

Danny Williams has gained this shot at the title following his impressive victory over Mike Tyson in July. All of the bookies see Klitschko as runaway favourite - with his height (6'8") and clubbing right hand (32 out of 33 wins by KO, only 2 lost) you can see why.
Danny Williams should not be underestimated and he showed in his contest with Tyson that he can rise to the occasion (equally he has been accused of sinking to the level of his opponent in previous bouts which may explain his previous form against 'lesser' opponents). Even if he is a 'one-shot-wonder' I think that this will work in Danny's favour - he will grab the opportunity with both hands. Despite being shorter than his opponent he has a good reach, is heavier and has a good punch (32 Wins - 27 KO's - 3 Losses).
He will undoubtedly be in the shape of his life and he has said in interviews that his father told him since he was 4 or 5 that he would one day be World Champion - "I always believed I would get to the top. Now that I'm here I'm going to make the most of it".
Lennox Lewis has also backed Williams saying that he thinks Williams can out-box the Ukranian highlighting his vulnerability to body shots and the fact that he cuts up badly (Klitschko needed 50 stitches after his fight with Lewis).
I cannot see these odds staying this high so get on this early if you want to get value.

:)

Got another good one here:

Lokeren (6th) - Club Brügge (2nd) - 2 - 1.80 (Ladbrokes)

The reason for the high odds on CB is Lokerens 3-1-0 home record. But behind those numbers you'll find home wins against the might of FC Brussels, La Louviere and Westerlo. Not exactly Belgiums finest.

So when they now finally are up against some decent opposition, it's going to be hard to get points at all. CB and Anderlecht are way ahead of the rest in Belgium, and CB's record of 6-2-0 22-4 hints to an away win at good odds.

But I've been crap lately, so stay away! ;)

But that price wouldn't have lasted more than a few minutes. When I say such and such a price there is the chance it will last a few hours. IP football prices change every 4-5 minutes in my experience.

There's no IP betting in the Goldmine so why should this be any different?

Right, back to the nags for the Value Thread.

Cedar Manor @ $4.50 - AAMI Victoria Derby.

I'll understand if no-one backs this given my perfect record of one horse racing tip, for one last, :bash: but this horse is value value value.

Currently 3rd favourite for the Derby behind the Cox Plate winner Savabeel and the Vase winner Plastered. Won the Norman Robinson Stakes with it's head on it's chest last start and loves a wet track. Over 2 inches of rain fell at Flemington yesterday and more rain is falling there today.

Will run the distance (2500 metres) right out and has Australia's premier jockey Damien Oliver on board.

$4.50 is way over the odds but get on as early as you can as the price won't last. Those with little ticker can even back it for the place at that price. :D Could even challenge for favouritism come Saturday.

2 points straight out. :p

Nor. Hockey - Sparta - Stavanger - 1 - 1.94 (Globet)
Sparta seems to have the upper hand on Stavanger, and have beaten them comfortably in their last meetings. Sparta also ridiculed my TIK bet a few days ago with a sensational away win in Trondheim. Should be a rather comfortable home win. Stavangers biggest flaw is their apparent need to play 4 against 5 all the time.... Great value in Globets 1.94, the others have 1.85-ish.

Based on the confidence of others on the Goldmine and Betting Thread, surely Palace @ $5.75 into 'Boro @ $2.80 for a return of $16.10 warrants inclusion in the Value Shop.

Even Palace @ $5.75 into 'Boro DNB @ $2.13 for a return of $12.24 represents huge value.

Not an official 'entry' for the Value Shop, just a suggestion, but what a profitable weekend it will be if it lobs. :lux:

I Fancy Burnley to grab a draw at QPR.
Rangers are in good form at home but Burnley are the draw specialist with 9 from 15 games so far.
They had a setback at home to Derby last week but redeemed themselves with a great win over Villa in the League cup in midweek.
With recent draws on the road at Wigan, Reading, Ipswich and Leicester they look value at 4.5. (skybet)
Maybe worth under 2.5 goals as well.

Not an entry for the value shop as yet but just to mark your card. if you can find Graham Dott to win the Britsh Open snooker at anything over 66/1 I suggest a small each way.

In the form of his life, only lost to a certain Mr O'Sullivan in the last 2 major tournaments, he is in the good half of the draw and will have his biggest challenges early in the tournament. If he gets through them the draw will be as wide open as Abi Titmus' legs.

Doesn't start till Nov 6th so plenty of time for shopping.

Good value bet tonight in the Spanish Primera Liga:
ATHLETIC BILBAO v BARCELONA Head To Head
Win ATHLETIC BILBAO 4.00 with Centrebet

Bilbao a strong home side, they have for example already beaten Real Madrid here this season. Barca with an excellent run in the league, but I've got a feeling that they'll stumble tonight..They lost in the cup to minnows on Wednesday and also lost to Milan in the CH recently.
Odds of 4 on Bilbao at home should be played..

Why not add it to the overall total, but not mine? Afterall, it came about directly from tips on the Betting Thread and the Goldmine, so there was enough 'validation' for people to have something on it. :)

Last seen storming off to bed, joined by yours truly at 6.30am after the League test. :D :lux:

Absoultely ropable last night when she saw I'd put 1K into the TAB account for Cup Day. Calmed down a bit when I reminded her of the fact that I handed over all (well almost all ;) :D ) of my winnings from Port in the AFL and will do so (again almost all ;) :D ) if I happen to flum a result tomorrow.

I know what you mean but then it's sort of cheating and makes the things worthless.

Have the power of your convictions in future!!!

Grim if you want a bit of value then look at the Heineken Cup

Castres are 66/1 with Skybet - biggest price elsewhere is 40's but go as low as 25s.

not saying they will win but they stand a good chance of getting to the last 8 - so I'm told - you could then always lay it off - or maybe its worth a punt for a couple of quid...

Surely there's some value in this bet tonight:
English Premiership CRYSTAL PALACE v ARSENAL Head To Head
Win ARSENAL 1.42

I mean we've got one of the weakest teams in the Premiership. Playing against the illustrious Arse, who have a point to prove.
I simply can't see us getting anything here. We were for example outplayed by Chelsea earlier this season, in a game were they had full control all game.

2 points on the away win..

(I sooooo hope I'm wrong)

Food for thought for those who feel inclined to bet against Palace. If you had bet against Palace, level stakes, in every game this season, you'd be LOSING. :) :lux:

Right not much value around fro the 1st round matches at the British Open snooker, but this one stands out

Mark Selby 1.83 to beat Mark King (Bluesquare)

Selby a good developing player recovering after a bad season last year (2nd season syndrome IMO) against unpredictable King.
Selby looked back on form and reached the quarter finals of the Grand prix, beating decent players in Leo Fernandez and Peter Ebdon whilst King was on the wrong end of a 5-0 thumping from Joe Jogia (29 year old ranked somewhere in the 200's)

this is 1.6/1.7 everywhere else so 1.83 is definate value.

Rangers 6/4 (possibly bigger in places) to beat Celtic AT HOME in the cup tonight (Wednesday). Celtic are clearly not the threat they once were without larsson, and Rangers are in good form. This is huge surely.
