Does the game have them?

I have three players in my Rushdens' side, Andy Burgess, David McShefferty (who both start out at Rushdens when the game starts) and Neil Midgley, who I bought in the first season.

All are firmly established in my team, and play regularly, and are about to reach their 10th seasons.

nookiebear it does not suprise me to hear you mention the names of Burgess and McShefferty. Two absolute class players. Im in 2010 and Burgess is worth £18m and McShefferty £7m. McShefferty has played 119 games scoring 86 goals. Burgess has played 286 games scoring 165 goals.

I am also in 2010. It's been one of the most enjoyable parts of the game, having players this long, and turning them into Superstars as opposed to going out and buying players.

Funny thing about McShefferty is he hardly played for about 6 seasons, only got 3 or four games, but always got a good rating, so I kept him. Then an injury crisis loomed, my coaches told me he was becoming a 'quality player', so I gave him a chance. That was 3 seasons ago, now value him at £10m, but still only my 3rd choice striker. Gets 20 games a season, average.

As for Burgess, has played around 45 games every season from the very start. £29m bid turned down for him, and turned down £29 for Midgley as well.
