Couldn't see another thread on this so apologies if there is one.

Looking at the pictures in the Sun today of the moron who invaded the pitch, I'm not sure what was more disturbing - him doing it and proceed to hit a female officer and a male one live on TV or the faces in the crowd in the photos? They were loving it, cheering him on and more worryingly the kids in the crowd appear to be loving it. Now i may be wrong and the crowd may have booed him as 99% of the palace fans did when the morons went on to the pitch vs sunderland but the photos appear to suggest they didn't. Can someone confirm who saw the game?

Yep they gave him a big cheer. I couldnt believe it when he smacked the lady officer though!! I didnt think English TV showed incidents like that but the BBC where focusing on him quite often. Or is that only streakers?

Only thought he started to get cheered when he started evading officers, could be wrong though.

Understandable!

However the photo clearly show him grappeling (sp) with the coppers and the crowd appear to be cheersing at that point also!

Didn't see any of the aggro on the coverage out this way. They did zoom in on Jack Straw who was in the Blackburn end though. Not that that was very exciting. Bit like the game.

Should have just let him and Robbie Savage get on with it, I thought it was funny him try to slip away from the old bill the bloke was a knob but it was entertaining.

I have to admit I cheered when we had the two streakers a couple of seasons ago at Selhurst anyone who says didn't is a fibber or gay !

One day Robbie Savage will get seriously assaulted by a fan, on the pitch.

One should be careful about what one does when gesturing to incite opposition fans.

Surely one isn't condoning fan violence against players, is one?

Actually, no need to apologise, I was gonna say that they are not all chavs as my cousin and his fiance live there but seeing as he was born in croydon and is therefore a full-bred chav anyway then I guess they probably all are chavs...

The wedding should a fun weekend away....

Often wondered about this "banning for life" thing, because if you get a mate to buy you a ticket, I'm sure the people on the turnstiles don't have pictures of everyone banned from the stadium, so I'd imagine it's quite easy to get into a ground even if you are banned! ?!
