Given that Mrs ov CPFC is due to sprog soon after the Norwich game it will be my 'Swan-Song' in terms of away trips for a fair while so I would like to make a day of it. Best Train deal I have come up with so far is 19.50 return ( but the Girl on the phone was not the sharpest tool in the box so I am sure that there are better deals out there).
In terms of times there is a 9.00 Train from Liverpool Street that gets into Norwich for about 10.40 and the idea of a pub crawl strikes me as a good one so please feel free to suggest potential venues and all are welcome. Ta.

I enquired about the trains for Norwich too, about two weeks ago, & I was quoted £19.50 advance booking for them as well so I think that will be the best deal we may get!!

I thought the Clarence Harbour pub was ok last season (see photo above). A bit crowded, but near the ground with some fabulous bar staff http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif

The Narwich game will unfortunately be my last out of London game for a while also. Got to start saving for my next place and can't while I'm zinging around the country. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/frown.gif
Will have to look forward to the BBS reports from then on...

The only outbound trains left on the £19.50 fare are 8.30 am ( gets in 10.24)or earlier. Who fancies breakfast there??

I think
Looks like Im going to have to go up by car, but unlike you lot at least that means I will get back on the same day. Mind you if I took a mini-bus up there I could make a fortune selling tickets to you once you had missed the last train

I was talking about Siko.
