My mouth is watering... when I lived in SE19, I used to go to all those pubs in Westow Street, Church Street and Anerley Hill.
Mind you, back in May I went to a pub next to the Post Office in Westow Hill (opposite Safeways), got an excellent curry and a good pint for a fiver...worth a shot.

2) Sounds like most of the Pubs I knew in my ill spent youth have gone by the board?
Are there any good Pubs in the triangle (Church St, Westow Hill, Westow St?) I have asked this question before, but is the the Railway Tavern still there (Gypsy Hill)?

The whole area is being rejuvenated, the pubs are actually pretty good now, apart form the Puzzle, which I dont like.

The Railway Tavern is still there I think.

Me, I like the Swan.
