I haven't bored you lot with any pictures of Chloe with Aki recently, so inspired by CPFC4EVER's fine picture of the great man in the Arthur last Saturday, I have decided to post a few.
This is Chloe with her favourite thing in the whole World. Oh and a flag too.

This is Chloe and Aki in the Club Shop before the Bolton home game. He had just signed the Play-Off Final shirt he gave her in May.

Finally,
Chloe took her friend Emma to her first game recently and introduced her to Aki before the game. So here's Emma, Aki and Chloe.

I'm obviously missing something here Nelson. Is Aki your next-door neighbour or something?

A bit harsh to talk about stalking in this context, don't you think?
Keep on showing your support to Aki, Chloe and Nelson!
I'm sure he appreciates it...if he didn't, he probably wouldn't be so welcoming.
Aki does seem to always have the biggest grin on his face, doesn't he? He mentioned in the Helsingin Sanomat interview on Tuesday something about acchieving almost complete inner peace during the past year...So that's what happy people look like?!?

Funny enough she has became a Palace fan.
Emma bought loads of the old Admiral stuff they were selling cheap in the car park before the Bolton match and she hadn't even seen a game!
Every time she's round the house now she's decked out in Palace stuff.
She came to the Birmingham game too, but tickets are a little hard to come by for the remaining games but she's doing Middlesbrough I think.
Aki is not my neighbour. My daughter adores him and he chats with her at every opportunity.
Eaglejez. Isn't Rob Fox a nice man? Not my b/day for a couple of weeks yet.

I was thinking the same as suits.
Get him round for dinner.
I don't think his birthday is for a while (I seem to remember a chloe post fairly recently), but can you please buy him a tie. As much as I think he looks very smart in his black shirt, silver tie combo, it has had a fair bit of wear.
That's all he seems to wear off the pitch!

joined a gym last week in beckenham. thought i would try out the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room first. In the new gym for approx. 20 mins, walk into the steam room and aki is in there!!
Talked for 20 minutes. The friendliest footballer i have ever talked to. Had loads to say, talked about his injury, how he didn't rate Birmingham, Dowie and Bob being legends etc etc.
When i left he said "thanks for the chat".......i almost fell over!
A true gent, and you can't name many Premiership footballers like that.

I first met him at Open Day 2001 and he was happy to pose for photos and sign autographs for me. I thought he was really cool and always looked out for him before the games. Now I try to see him before every home match and he goes out of his way to talk to me. He gave me some signed cards from his time playing in Finland and Norway and when he gave me his shirt at the playoff final I nearly fainted!!
His latest interview on the CPFC Offical site states how he is single Chloe, so there's hope yet..

I haven't met many footballers, but I have met Aki and I can certainly agree with what you say. He is charming company and without one shred of ego. Worryingly, my wife still raves about him, having met him in the disabled kids box once.

What's the gym called? One of my best-friends goes to this proper snazzy gym in Beckenham where she's seen Kate Lawler and I'm sure she's mentioned she's seen Palace players in there before aswell.

Crystal Palace have a long and illustrious history of players who weren't over-full of talent and yet became firm favourites with the crowd for their honest endeavour, enthusiasm and quirks.
I refer m'learned friend to Mr Alan Pardew as a prime example.

he was great with my kid before the Bolton game as well. He also was brilliant with a fan who obviously had severe learning difficulties, made him feel the most important person in the world. Aki gives 100% and is getting better at passing and being in scoringpositions. His work rate is immense. Love that man!!

I live several thousand miles away, I have never met the man, I have only seen him play a couple of times on TV, but.....
....he commands my respect. From what I read on the BBS he is pure class (the story of Chloe and the play off final made me quite weepy).
Aki, if you read this thread, thank you! You are a great example of what a sports figure should be. :p:

I assumed Chloe was much younger. When I recently talked to you about your kind offer of a lift and mentioned it would be great to finally meet Chloe as we have heard so much about her I was making such a comment as one would in regards to a young child. Bet I seem a bit creepy now!

Aki is a legend end of. His form this season has been great right up there like when he first came to the club. Francis was a meppet fopr not playing him more, and Aki would have left if Sir Dowie of Selhurst had not come in end of.
He has time for every fan which is amazing stuff, I have chatted with him on a few occasions and he is very approachable and a delight to have at our club. I will never forget the moment when Muntz, Chloe, myself and McNori held up the Finland flag away at Bolton and he did his 'weekly' salute at it as he ran onto the pitch, you ask Nelson, I almost fainted with excitement myself! :lux:  ;) :lux:

The last one he did was about AJ. I think that was two weeks ago.

I was also looking for something to read during lunch break. Wasn't this his latest?
"I’M CRAZY. ONE OF THE BIGGEST nutters of all time. There have been only 27 weirder footballers in the universe. In the history of the game. This is how FourFourTwo magazine lists me. The Premiership is one of the biggest sport brands in the world. The passionate British football culture and style of play, combined with a glamorous setting and successful marketing, have made a demand for everything that involves it. Long past are the days when the product was just the game. Now it is also the personalities and their life behind football. Even players are becoming brands. Or something like it — even crazy."
That was 2 weeks ago so there should be a column in today's The Game. I was curious to see if he had written about Mourinho like he did in his latest column for Iltalehti. Possibly a very controversial topic at the moment (Frisk, Uefa, Cole...). Maybe he just didn't have time to write...?
If the column is in the paper version, I'd really appreciate it if anyone had time to type it out as we get the paper version 2-3 days late up here. Thanks in advance!
