I drive up from Whitstable every game but I know people drive a lot further than me, But how Far?
I was thinking this after I posted the tread about who drives up of my area.

I live fairly close but I drive west from Aldershot instead, take a ship from Bristol to New York, then drive across the US to Seattle, north into Canada and to Alaska. Then I take the short ferry over the Bering Strait into Russia and head towards Moscow, then through the former eastern block until I reach Holland. Then its a ferry to Folkestone and then the M25.
Next season i'm thinking of going via both Poles instead to break the monotony.
Does anyone have a large ship I can borrow?

No problem with your plans anti, but watch out for the M25 as it might slow you down just a tiny bit. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

I would drive, but I am waiting for the puddle between here and the UK to dry up a little?

I'm coming from Jakarta next Thursday, arriving Friday morning and then driving to Birmingham on Saturday. Does that count?

Sure it counts Bintang.Going to Birmingham from jakarta is after all one trip.In the 94/95 season I came over from Perth Australia landed at 5:30am dumped my bags at my parents in Orpington and went to Ipswich away on the same day.I had been drinking on the plane and in the pubs before the match went back to the pub only to fall asleep pint in hand.Sadly I don't drive.

This was done a little while ago wasn't it? Someone impressively drove down from Scotland each game.

Earlier this year, we left Sydney at 11am on a Friday morning their time and touched down in Heathrow, smelling like a chimps armpit, 40 hours later at 10am on Saturday morning.
Waiting for me was a lift and a ticket to Wolves.
Suetext went straight home to make plans to get me certified brain dead.

I will be leaving Mobile AL at 4.40pm (CST) then travel via Atlanta to Gatwick, where I arrive at 8.45am and then travel to Sydenham where I will leave my luggage and then head for whatever Pub will be the gathering place prior to the Tranmere game. Only about 12 hrs.

I go from Elgin (Highlands) most weeks. It takes about 12 hours as well. But I'm posted to Cyprus in December, so that should pose a bit more of a challenge. Poxy season ticket!
