I can remember the reaction I had to hearing the news that Ian Wright was leaving. I fell into a dismal mood and really lost interest in Palace for the next season. I also had moved away and I could not get to games.
I was surrounded by fans of the big clubs from the North West of England and there seemed to be little to cheer about.
Now I am thousands of miles away........but i do still feel loyal to Crystap Palace.
Ian Wright is my all time favourite. I even enjoyed he success at Arsenal.
He should have done better for England though I admit that but the England managers played the game to suit the other forwards.
My all time favs
Ian Wright
Peter Taylor
David Payne
Rachid Harkouk ( spidey legs)
Don Rogers
Goalkeepers Nigel Martyn &
John Jackson
