Streams fine for me. Was stuttering now and then until 5 mins ago. I've got 1500/768 ADSL.

There is some software on the net that allows you to do that... can't remember its' name though!!!

I know it's no help now, but try watching the streams using VCL PLayer. It streams much better than WMP.
At this current time the Charlton game, isn't being shown live on any channel anywhere. At the moment it is only being shown on ART has a delayed transmission. As a result there won't be any streams on the internet.
YOu never know though, it could change.

No this channel isnt on coolstreams and no thier are no links for the palace vs charlton match only the second half via RTS2 which is only 100k.

Try hitting the Alt key. You can then move along the top menu with the arrow keys.

Thanks, but Alt doesn't work in coolstreaming. It does in the VLC media player but I don't know if I can set that to be the default somehow or if not if I can maybe do that through control panel ? Also what happens if I don't manage to select VLC will it just play anyway on a default player ? Also I clicked on RTS2 an hour ago and it still says .39% buffering :-(

I've only tried this coolstreaming lark for the first time today so you know as much as me.
Elliott or CPFCTown are the experts.
Edit: that was in reply to Shoreditch. Dedders just download the stuff suggested by Elliott at the beginning of the thread. You fire up the coolstreaming program and it will fire up the VLC media player when it's ready to go.

When it comes to 10 minutes before the second half this afternoon, press RTS2 in coolstreaming.

RTS 2 isnot workign all coolstreams. The channels that are not balck (so the ones whited out tend not to be up and working)

yeah thats what i did when it wouldn't work for me. All set and ready to go now. Fulham Norwich first half down the pub then back here to suffer in silence.

i think the whole palace match maybe on RTS2 its 1.30 and there is no match on it now which would mean there would be no time now to show a full italian footie match. Also a few sites say we are on it no reference to second half only...who knows ... maybe :)

We wont have no streams unless somethign drastic happens. I own a live football free site and none on the championship matchs were shown this year and so far neither have the playoffs. End of.
Forigen countries are only intreted in the top flight of english football.

Championship games are now shown live in the USA via Setanta Sports USA and I'm sure some of the Scandinavian countries show the Championship games too. With new streams appearing all the time I'm sure something will turn up for next season. Give it 2-3 years and I'm sure all clubs will be streaming their own games live anyway...

Thanks for your query. As i am aware the site is currently 100% legal. The sites that are refered to are ones like www.freelivefootball.co.uk which does what is stated in the article and streams from channel's abroad.
My site does none of this as the links are from other resources with as many people here most links coming from Coolstreams (not my software either).
This is where it could get intresting...coolstreams is a P2P based program which shares the stream so you watch and upload to other which allow's the quality to be much higher then say winamp or other various links.
Im not tottaly sure where the streams on coolstreams come from but as far as im aware they come from the TV companies direct. With TV companies such as RTS2 Sport's showing there TV live around the world 24/7 (http://mediahopper.com/portal.htm) <<-- tv channels online list and links where certain channels which show the Premierleague games are listed with links.
So could be intresting to see how this develops. As far as i know im not breaking any laws and have had no contact from any agency's saying so and im sure my webhost as well as the datacenter would shut the site down imeditaly if they had any problems.
I shall see how it develops but like i said so far i see nothing wrong. As im not one of the sites that charge and stream games live from satelitte pictures in other contires such as the website above and the many others.

I think with freelivefootball their servers are based in foreign countries so the premierleague cant do anything

I think you are right...i believe it is based in the states in Florida... I'm sure they could contact the hosting ISP and ask them to close the site down...
coolstreaming is based in China so that would be hard to go after..

The authorites as we can call them would first ask i imagine the owner of the site (cyprus) to close it down at his own will and if he refuses then take legal action againt him.
Like i said its not 100% clarified what is wrong and what is right behind coolstreams but the sites like freelivefootball.co.uk are run using satlillte streams from forigen countires.
Br intresting to see if they clamp down on thier site as it is well known.

alternatives currently out there are:
PPLive - http://www.pplive.com - very good for Starsports and CCTV5
and http://tv.net9.org (feidian).
Both are based on P2P streaming and involve you downloading a client application. PPLive is the more stable of the two at the moment and has the option to change it to the English Language. I watched the Argentina vs Brazil game on CCTV5 without any buffering at 540kKbps

Can anyone give an update? I notice that coolstreaming is off the air, with rumours of copyright problems. Is there an alternative? Last season I joined soccerstreams and midway through the season, it too closed down.
