I've had a bit of success with Palace!!

The story if you are interested :

Started at Celtic
Champions & SFA Cup
Champions & League Cup & SFA Cup

Joined Palace who were 16th in Div 1
Went on a great run and ended up 6th
Promoted via Play-offs
Finished 4th on goal difference in Prem. Just missed out on Euro Cup place
Finished 4th in Prem & made semi finals of UEFA Cup
Won Premier, League Cup and FA Cup
Only lost two games all season - unbeaten at Selhurst!!

I've taken some pics but I have them at home. I'll add them to the topic after the weekend.

I use quite a strange tactic that seems to work really well. I've got no really big stars apart from Buffon in goal. My formation is 2-3-3-2. I can send it to you if you leave me your email address.

Well, I dont want to brag but...

Im one of my many palace saved games (which has now been deleted due to crashing)

I won promotion via tha play-offs in season 1(00-01) and the next season i won the Premeirship, League Cup and FA Cup.

My proudest moment so far...

I won the first division in my first seaso, finished 7th in the prem next season. I then won the premiership and got to the semi finals of the uefa cup only to be knocked out by two penalties from van nistlerooy! Currently i am doing absolutely pathetically

I'm currently with Notts County whom I've just got promoted first time into the 2nd div. What a high profile job

Geez, and too think I still play CM2 season 96-97 cause I haven't been able to get any others cause of lack of funding for things like that. Oh well, it is still fun as hell.

I don't feel quite as out of date now with 99/00, although no one saves the Palace, and i always get relegated and sacked after the second season. Happens after i sell Jolly

In year 2005 as the mighty Palace. Playing 00-01 version, have won FA Cup, League Cup & Premier twice on my way to the third. In the Champions League semi final best ever. My tactic is 3-1-3-1-2, if you want a copy let me know.

well.....i just finished winning the quadruple.....FA Cup, League Cup, Premier Division, and Champions League.....oh yeah and the world club championship and the most coveted trophy in English foolball...the Charity Shield :eek:

Add to that the Euro Super cup and the other world club thingy and you've got my most recent season -- after only 4 seasons. 4132 formation, if you're interested.

Did amazingly with the built in 352 attacking formation in 00-01. After 10 seasons i grew tired of winning literally EVERTHING and being over 100 million to the good.

I have now started a again (with palace) and have set myself the target of one day the whole England team consisting of only palace players!

Also the perfect 442 formation.

Its still brilliant. You can get 97-98 for a fiver and I still prefer it to CM3
