They defended well for a long time with 11 men behind the ball and broke very well and very quickly as soon as Arsenal lost the ball but after 60 minutes they were knackered and there was only one winner.

Arsenal now four points ahead of Man U for that second automatic CL place. Gives Man U plenty to play for against W. Brom and Soton

Good result.
Now it's up to us on Saturday.
And if we win on Saturday and Moan U win, West Brom are down.

West brom played well to be fair to them, however they cant seem to keep a clean sheet and I think thats them finished now

We've said that before about WBA and Norwich!!

What a triple header on Saturday: We win will
1) Worsen So'ton GD
and could (hopefully should):
2) Relegate Norwich
3) Relegate West Brom

Not quite - they'll need a draw from our game at the weekend. Then, if Norwich win against Birmingham, they'll have to avoid a spanking at Old Trafford. If Norwich don't win, then whatever happens to West Brom, it would be beautifully poised for the final day. Sky would need to show all four matches live!

Now we need Arsenal to lose their next match so United have something to play for!
And CPFC987...never noticed this until now, but all our wins have been clean sheets!

Man U v West Brom is at 5.15 on Sky on Saturday, so they'll know the result of our game before k.o.

I think that's gotta be West Brom gone. Beat Southampton on Saturday, and if Birmingham get something out of Norwich I'd bet anything on you staying up now.

If we beat Saints on Saturday, West Brom lose and Norwich fail to win, both those two will almost certainly be down (Norwich would have to make up 3 points and a GD defecit of at least -11, although if the Canaries lose, then in this scenario they would definitely be relegated).
If.
I hate if.

All West Brom need is for Palace /Saints to be a draw and then for them its seriously game on and ditto with Naarch. If we could win things start looking decididly rosey and the others would be in serious trouble.

Could have done with a draw tonight.
A point for WBA would have left it still in our own hands, trouble is now it is a high possibility that Man U have nothing to play for on the last day of teh season againsts Saints! With the Cup final the following week they will rest half their squad - making a Saints win a real possibility! Whereas a draw 'might' havbe been enough against them now we really must WIN it or Saints will stay up!

Can see one of 'em nicking a point at the Library. This would mean Utd might feel they'd have a chance for 2nd place. Hang about, Utd have Chavski coming up, so scrub that. United's reserves will still be looking to impress before the cup final to get in the squad. Reckon they still might turn over the Stains.

Chelsea who have won the league and will only be looking at the Champs League... Utd will turn them over I think.
