View Full Version : Domain has Expired page on valid web sites

We've been having a problem for a few days now that is quite sporadic. On certain sites we get a Domain has Expired, click here to renew page with sponsored links etc instead of the proper web site. I know the web page is valid, we got it on www.bbc.co.uk yesterday.

If I clear the DNS cache on my domain server and then flush the local dns on my machine everything seems to work ok again. Could it be a problem with the dns server, my IPs dns servers or could there be some adware/malware problem.

Any help appreciated.

sounds like adware to me, run 'adaware' or 'spybot' should sort it out.

I suppose that would be on the server.

I'm getting it on http://www.robfox.info. Can anyone try this for me. This is what I get.....

I'd run CWSShredder on your local machine and then Spybot - sounds like something has happened on your server which is redirecting your URL requests.

It'd be useful to know which URL you are redirected to. It may tell us a bit more info about what may be causing the problem

When I go to robs page and I get redirected it goes to When I look at the source of that page it has references to

<a href ="http://parking.logicboxes.com/lt/1.htm/?dn=robfox.info&p=top&isj=0"><img src="http://images.bnmq.com/tplg/15/px.gif" width=0 height=0 border=0></a><a href ="http://parking.logicboxes.com/lt/2.htm/?dn=robfox.info&p=top&isj=0"><img src="http://images.bnmq.com/tplg/15/px.gif" width=0 height=0 border=0></a>

When I clear the server's cache, flush my local dns and restart my browser I get to the correct rob's site on
