I'm glad to see that we are trying to get a forward in at last. what about Lee Hughes from yesterday's performance? I think he would fit in but I can't see them selling him for anything in our price range. I saw a video of Mark Burchill from Celtic over the weekend, he looks good but is really small and unlikely to add to our airial dominance. I also see that Les Ferdinand could be available for £1m,would he be worth a gamble?

isn't Harris a centre back ??
whatever he is he's crap, long throw and thats it, more like a freak show, at least that Challinor at Tranmere is a half decent player!!
No Harris, bid that little bit more for Beattie.

The news item says that Southampton want £2.5m and we have offered £2.2m. surely we can fork out another £300,000

Harris looked liked a great big donkey when he came on. Lumbering around after the ball, giving fouls away. So what if he can throw a football quite a long way, so could Steve Backley.
Ferdinand would be good but not for £1m given his injury problems. Shipperley yes, but he probably wont want to leave Barnsley.
Someone like Bob Taylor or Wayne Allison can do a job at Division One level. Steve Kabba has been knocking them in for the reserves, I've only seen him once though, he looked quite powerful...anyone got any thoughts on him?
on another note, if he's not cup tied, bet Leo-fortune west scores for Cardiff against us tomorrow, after someone mentioned him last week.

Lets bid 10 million for Hartson safe in the knowledge that the big pie eating **** will fail another medical and we can all laugh at Wimbledon (again).

I've only seen Kabba once, against Kuwait, and thought he looked promising, but he's not that big and I guess most of us are agreed that it's a big(ish) bloke we need. Also, we need someone who's already proven.
